Hip-hop is nothing but producers jackin' shit from the REAL original version. "Picture Me Rollin'" was from Johnny J's 1991 solo album in the first place. That is the OG version. If he likes the nu-mixx shit, what's it to you? Personally, I like the "Heartz of Men" nu-mixx from the first volume better than the original 2pac song.

its a sample yes..he also used it on death around the corner...

I seriously cannot believe you have quoted. That really is an insult to Pac. The beat to that remix is just plain awful. No comparison apart from the lyrics.

please say you meant that to be the other way around

You know what...that version of "Whats Your Number" is nice. 10x better than the original.

Pac is dead. I don't think he cares. And frankly, I'm not here to impress anyone either. I like the beat and that is that. If you want to get into semantics, I'm sure I could find songs in your repertoire that I would say are garbage.

'Picture Me Rollin' - the beat is actually better than the OG, only because of some of the little vibes they added. But come on, it's hardly changed. Butch's hook is horrible. Just horrible. Awful.
'What's Your Number' - I love the way they've flipped the beat so that Pac's doing some double time shit. Amazing. That's what a remix should be - something that makes the track completely different. The woman on it is horrible though.
In conclusion, both tracks are better than the remixes on the first volume. But that's not saying a lot.

I agree, both tracks are 10x better than the ones on vol. 1.

this might be the first Pac album that I've bought since the first volume dropped
