my jaw dropped when i read this........
It looks like another record label will be hitting the chopping block. According to the NY Post, EMI Music group will be folding its Hip-Hop label, Priority Records, into its Capitol division. Headed by Bryan Turner, EMI paid $200 million for the label three years ago. Priority houses mostly Hip-Hop acts including Ras Kass, Ice Cube, Bad Azz, JT Money and distributes for Rawkus Records, No Limit Records and Wu-Tang Records.
Analysts say that the folding of the label will be good for Capitol who can then build on their strength in the urban market. This move comes after the failed merger attempts with Warner Music Group and BMG. EMI contends that a final decision on Priority's continuation has been made

I always wondered why Snoops publishin Said EMI blackwood........i didnt know they owned priority.....so.....Snoop is on Capital Records now.......which is owned By Sony...??? Snoop is owned by the japanese!!!! he is going to be gettin blunted with them playin PS2!

Snoops next single is gunna be in Japaneese, and it's featuring "Mr. Cheeng Gong Bong"...The single is called "Ching Ching Chong" and it samples Dre's part of "Ding Ding Dong"...LoL JK
