No dumbfuck. Based on their production of those 4 songs I've heard, I think it's best that the album doesn't come out. We'll hopefully that rumor of them not being on Interscope anymore is true because that's a step in the right direction.

i'll be honest, i love quik's music. that being said this new "music" sounds like they are trying to cater for the mainstream by making the same sorta music which is popular at the moment. which is fair enough, you have to respect their hustle... i for one though aint feeling the music they have released and probably wont support the project. i will give it a listen though to see what it is like

Come on elmizzy, you should know better than that, I know you've been on dubcc for a long time and you're a good poster, and if you've read interviews that I've done you'll see that I'm not a dickrider that just agrees with teh artists...
One thing that is true though, is that meeting Quik influenced how I felt about the song, BECAUSE, he was so genuinely excited about it, and he said he's just happy to have fun again and making "Can U Werk Wit That" felt great etc etc. So yo know, if, everytime the song came on, I was like "Damn, this is the same DJ Quik that did Rythmalism etc" then I couldn't bear the song for 1 minute, but if you just let go of that and enjoy the song for what it is, a fun little club track, it's alright!

Under the influence = 2 good songs
Trauma = 3 good songs
The Fixxers = cheesy as hell
Quik & Kurupt - Blaccout = terrible generic sounding album
