I only got through the first 5 joints and I'm fuckin lovin it, just like I knew I would. I haven't heard anything from this prior to coppin it, not even the lead single.
Common continues getting more and more dope behind the mic. A true fuckin MC. And Kanye's production is :o He continues to evolve his style, and it's goddamn tight. I'm really lovin this album so far.

got it today too, lovin the record, 100% real hip hop, Common is the truth, I think he just got himself another grammy nomination for best rap album of the year, maybe even best album of the year, who knows....

its ok. it sounds dated though and Common didn't really do anything out of the ordinary lyrically. It has its high points but overall its pretty bland.

Yeah it's a great album, and it will probably be the best album this year, since everything is so wack nowadays :)
I just hope he won't stick to Kanye West on his next album.. His 2 albums before Finding Forever and Be are so much better IMO.. I like the lyrics on all the records.. but:
Beats on "Electric Circus" & "Like Water For Chocolate" > Beats on "Finding Forever" & "Be"
Gotta say that the beats Kanye did on this album is better than most shit you hear from him though.

everywhere i go it seems like someone givin props to this shit...Was gonna cop it but I never really felt homie on his previous shit. Not that he cant rhyme but his whole crochet beret shit kinda throws me off...i dunno ill probably end up checkin it out. Imma wait for more reviews though.

Common - Finding Forever
the album is pretty dope and in my opinion, its the best album released in 2007 so far, because honestly, i've seen that much good hip hop that dropped this year, particularly albums. No albums have really impressed me this year. The Common did though.
I like albums when they are all or mostly produced by one producer, it keeps the album consistent. Kanye West did a good job with this album.
Its all a matter of taste though, some people whill say this is wack, others will love it.

But i'll listen to the whole album...I bought this the day it came out, but I got the leak a little while back.
The only main dissapointment I had with this album was that they took off the bonus track off the album. I think I read that is was going to be un the UK version of the album. The track is titled "Play Your Cards Right"
That song was one my favorites on the leak and it sucked that they didn't put it on the album, but oh well.
Right now the cd is only like $10 at best buy or other places, I suggest if you want some good hip hop, pick it up.

love this album, every track is dope, can listen to the cd the whole way through without skipping. I also love that it has a very consistent sound through out
