Actually you'd be surprised how much stronger a grown human male is. As long as you aren't afraid and try and run you can quite easily punch and kick most dogs into submission. I once had this growling doberman run at me in the middle of the street with no one around, I didn't feel like having to go get a shot and all that shit if it bit me so I just kicked pretty hard on its snout. It ran away wimpering like a pussy. Another time some jackass was letting his pit run around the park wiht out a leash and it came up to me looking for trouble. I had slippers on this time so I didn't want to kick. I just punched it on the top if its head and it retreated. The asshole had the gull to get upset with me for hitting his dog. Fucking thing was barking at at me and lunging forward.

Now I just carry pepper spray around with me. Haven't had to use it yet.
