Anybody know a good free program to make your own ringtones for the RAZR?
-
I use Cool Edit Pro and cut it up.

A wav manipulation program. Awesome, if you can get a cracked version, will do damn near everything you need

Anybody else?

Interesting because I just started making my own ringtones. Here's how to do it (assuming you have Verizon, otherwise I don't know):
1. Pick your song, and load it into your favorite sound editing program (I use Sound Forge, Cool Edit Pro works too)
2. Cut the portion of it that you want.
3. Save the portion of your song in MONO, at no higher than 128kbs. Play around it with it, and you might have to save it at 64 kbs instead.
4. Close the program with your saved file on your computer now.
5. Change the file name like "ringtone.mp3" to "ringtone.midi"
6. Send it to your phone via email - example - 5552345785 (no spaces, dashes) @vzwpix.com
so, the email will be sent to 5558252464@vzwpix.com
You've got it on your phone now, and you can "save the file" once you've got the email on your phone. Then set it to your ringtone and you're set. If it doesn't work, try making the file poorer quality (like 64kbs or something)

^ Thanks, but I have T-Mobile. :-\
I'm trying to find a software or driver so I could hook it up through the USB to my comp, no luck yet. The ones I did find didn't work. Gotta keep looking I guess.

look for how to email pictures to yourself with your service, if you find out, then you can use my method

V3's are real cheap now so people get them. That and our prices are alot different for cellular.
