Try using this app:

http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

Very straightforward interface. All the options are within a single interface and it works fast.

What program are you using to burn the mp3 files?

When converting the mp3 files to .wav, make sure that the resulting files are all 44.1Khz, 16 Bit PCM. That's the audio CD standard (redbook)

Try this program:

CD Burner XP
http://www.cdburnerxp.se/download.php

It's free, should do the job of burning those mp3 or .wav files if you were able to convert them.

Unless the mp3 files are corrupted, try running this program to fix them first:

MP3 Repair Tool:
http://www.drtag.de/en/downloads.htm
(Bottom of Page)

If that still doesn't work send me one of the files, I'll take a look at it.

Forgot to mention, make a copy of the mp3 files before using the repair tool
