Title: Kurupt - Started
Post by: MIAMI4LIFE on August 06, 2007, 05:54:05 AM
I'll be damned if this isn't the dopest shit Kurupt ever wrote, off of the Last Of Tha Pound album I've had this on repeat while I'm on vacation here in Greece, this is lyrical Kurupt at his best 8)

I was just about to say where have you been homie? Yeah definitely his best solo joint, and lyrically right up there with his other classic verses on Dogg Food and other guest appearances. He murdered that Every Single Day song as well.

Yeah I would have liked to hear what their 2nd album would have sounded like if they would have stayed on Death Row. That Last Of The Pound album had some really dope cuts on there.

One of the best east/west collabos.

I have always loved this track by Kurupt! 8)

It just Flows so smooth.

On a side note, Kurupt re-used these classic lyrics on:

"10 till midnight" (off the "compilation" dpg 2002)

"Run & Duck"  (Around 2000-2001, A little faster, the beat didn't work as well as on "started")

"the Dungeon" w/Canibus (He only uses like half the lyrics here)

& possibly more other tracks?

But I have to say "Started" is the Best!  8)
