goldies quite young i believe, think he was only bout 19 or so when topp dogg came out, i think someone will probably tell me otherwise

and yeah hes hella underrated as a producer and rapper

damn didnt know hes intro producing.
i made the thread cuz he appeared on tha scene and nobody knew who he was and how he got with snoop and i far as i know nobody even asked it at the time.

that dogghouse beat on eastsidaz was like my second favorite beat after g'd up. shit was fucking bangin. he's a sick producer although his beats do sort of sound pretty similar.

it's kinda weird since he was fairly new on the scene in a group with og's like tray and snoop.

Goldie Loc was rapping with Lifestyle (in which one member, Pretty Tony aka Bing is Snoop brother or half brother). Snoop heard him, liked his shit, picked out a Goldie Loc beat (20 minutes) like out of 50 beats for his Topp Dogg album. Around this time he was looking to put together a group, and Snoop asked Bing if he could take Goldie under his wing. The rest is history.......and history in the making!
