I'm on the tenth minute of the first episode of the first seson and they've already played some De la Soul & Redman, Joe Budden, Ginuwine, Gangstarr...and even Pete Rock & InI :o
Props to the guys responsible for that 8)

Yeah they always play dope songs on Entourage, Hip-Hop or otherwise.
-
Yeah, whoever picks the music for Entourage seems to have some good taste, and like T-Dogg said: not just in hip-hop. The rock music is always on point as well (The Eagles, Free, etc...)
-
What is Entourage (im french by the way) ???

Check out the Entertainment section of this message board. There's an entire thread dedicated to "Entourage" there. You'll find some some reviews and thoughts about the show...
I'm from Belgium myself, and up until last Sunday, they didn't air Entourage here either. I bought the DVD's a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised though when I found out that they decided to show Entourage on Belgian television. They show it at 10:30 PM, horrible timing for a show like this if you'd ask me. They can reach a bigger audience if they have it aired at prime-time, like C.S.I. for instance (8:30 PM).
-
^ They show it at 10:00 pm here in the States. I get to watch it at 7 though, cus I have HBO East, with shows everything on Eastern time.
-
Man, I'd move to the U.S. just so I could have HBO, lol. Seriously, there's so many good shows on that channel...
Come to think of it, I should ask around here to see if it's possible to get HBO on Belgian television through satellite or something. Don't know if that's possible. It'll probably be quite expensive too...

Yeah man. HBO is worth it just for the shows! There's this new show called "Flight Of The Choncords" that comes on after Entoruage that's pretty funny.

I'm tired of downloading the episodes on the net too ... there are WAY too many commercial breaks on US channels though ... last April when I was in LA I watched Prison Break finale ep on FOX 11 .. shit lasted at least 20 min more than the lenght of the episode itself
-
I hear that. Although I haven't been to the States myself yet (summer of '08 mofos!), I know that they are known for having lots of commercials during shows. But lately Belgian TV tends to have the same shit too though, especially with popular shows like Lost and Prison Break. To stick with the Prison Break example: every episode here in Belgium is cut down into three parts, with each commercial break lasting 5 to 8 minutes. So that's about as bad as in the U.S., if not worse!
But like I said, it all depends on the popularity of the show and on the time a particular show airs. If a show starts at 11 PM, and lasts one hour, there will only be about 2 commercial breaks that last about 4 or 5 minutes maximum. I think that goes for most countries...
-
^^^^ where will you go in Summer 08 ? LA ??
-
L.A. indeed 8) Probably for about 2 or 3 weeks or so. And I might visit Vegas too while I'm at it. Which reminds me...I'm gonna holler at you sometime this week on MSN regarding your trip to L.A...I have a few general questions to ask (hotels, prices, etc...).
-
^^^^ yeah no pb , pm if u want coz I'm not much on MSN these days ...
-
Good, 'cause neither am I actually. I'll send you a PM.
-
The soundtrack they just released for the show this month is kinda balls.... It's got the bangin' Saigon track though.

HBO doesn't have commercials though. You've gotta pay extra for it here in the US, so they don't put up any ads during the shows.
-
^^^^Even better! While we're on the HBO-topic, I've always wondered...how much is it that you guys have to pay to get HBO? And how does it work? Is like some sort of package deal where channels other than HBO are included as well? Is it a montly payment each time, or do you need to subscribe for an entire year?
-
^^^^ I didn't know you were French ... ;)
yes sir ;D

sounds like a damn good show
i might have to find a way to download the episodes with french subtitles...
thank yall for all the info !

The Game's "How We Do" was used during the first season I believe...
This is my favorite show on TV right now. Ari is hands down the best character on the show. 8)
