Former NBA star Vin Baker due in Norwich court today (http://www.norwichbulletin.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070828/NEWS01/70828010)

NORWICH — Former professional basketball player Vin Baker has a scheduled court appearance in Norwich today in a pending drunken driving case.

Baker, 35, of Durham, has pleaded not guilty to charges he was driving drunk June 19 when he was pulled over by police in Norwich.

Police said Baker failed a sobriety test and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in a proper lane, police said.

good, somebody this dumb doesn't deserve chance after chance after chance

he obviously doesn't care so he's probably better off dead, that way he won't kill some innocent driver on the road

I remember reports of him showing up to Knick practice reeking of mouthwash (he'd down that shit to get himself drunk on the low, instead of burning himself with alcohol). LOL.

^^That or he was just using the mouthwash to cover whatever he was drinking.  Either way, why in the flying fuck would you want to get drunk and then go to bball practice?  That would fucking suck.

Thats what I was thinking. I'm not surprised at all though, hes been in bad shape.

Well, he supposedly admitted to actually drinking the mouthwash instead of alcohol. LOL.
