Title: This has definitely been a good summer in terms of quality hiphop released...

started off with

Tangled Thoughts - philly 2 cali (which i really wasn't expecting much of but was pleasantly surprised)
Pharoah - Desire (worth the wait IMO, I love this album)
Common - Finding Forever (tight album everything i didn't like about Be they fixed here)
UGK (another album of the year candidate)
WC - Guilty by affiliation (Westcoast album of the year so far)
Talib - Eardrum (best talib's done since reflection eternal)

and we still got Kanye and 50 to drop.

I hope they can keep up the quality in the 4th quarter of the year.

yeah, I definitely agree.  Add "Digital Smoke" to that list for me too.
