As we continue our already acclaimed Summer of Heat interview series we hooked back up with Daz Dillinger once again right in time to talk about his upcoming solo albums "Gangsta Party," "Only On The Left Side," "Throw A Stack At 'Em" and a host of others as well as the recently announced Dogg Pound album that will be released via Cash Money Records.
Daz takes some time to tell us why he could well be the busiest man in the business in this unique, humorous interview that only Daz could deliver.
The long time Independent Dogg Pound Gangsta tells us why he's so busy dropping projects, his hustling strategy, as well as his thoughts on the fans that do - and those that do not - support him.

agreed..the only ones i firmly believe WILL come out for sure is gangsta party & only on the left side...got a bad feeling about cash money...they are 100% not releasing a dpg album, g.malone album, mack 10 album

Well if they don't drop they can always go back to Koch. That is the beauty of indie projects. Sure Daz would like to make it big on a major, but if that is not possible he knows the game and can still have that material released on his own.

I've heard all of daz's solo work/work with Kurupt up to an including dogg chit and he's not the worst artist but I'd rather him take his time on one record. props to Nima for pretty much saying that to him.
and he has made a gang of money Johnny. He has multiple homes. He can live in CA, Mississippi or Atlanta at will.

i see what your saying but id rather have daz puting out songs and albums when their ready and i will always like a gang of the shit he does put out rather than him putting out 1 a year or so and it being dissapointing

Well he must be doing ok to still put the material out. I really don't care about how much money another man makes. Really none of my business, and it does not make my pockets fatter, but I respect the hustle in this day and age where you have to wait years for some to drop, you don't worry about it with Daz.

As far as Daz's product, other than doing the paid download for Soopa's album, I have bought his stuff through a retail store. The off the wall comments him and Snoop make are at tmes comical, but nothing as been said to the point I feel that I won't buy something they put out. The Snoop comment on Em was dumb as hell, but apparently that is his opinion. Now if he would have been on some fuck the fans shit, I would cut ties buying his albums. For people screwed over with ordering stuff from Daz I can understand why they would not want to buy anything from him. That ain't happened to me.
