College - less theory, more hands-on experience; u'll most likely get a diploma at the end of your program

University - more theory, less hands-on (depending on the program); you'll get a degree at the end of your program

Grad. School - comes after you get a degree; here 's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduate_school

read that article again, and that's correct about the master's degree:

Those attending graduate schools are called graduate students, or in British English postgraduate students, or, colloquially, postgrads. Degrees awarded by graduate schools include master's degrees, doctoral degrees (Ph.D.s), and other postgraduate qualifications such as graduate certificates and professional degrees.

College - 4 year school, get a BA, can be little privite schools

University - big school, 4 year degrees, complete with graduate programs, and usually have football teams

Grad. School - after your B.A., could be a university, or a school that specializes in advance careers like law school or med. school.

It's not the same here in Norway. I attend at University of Tromsø and grad school and university is mixed up and it's called a college i guess. That's why I'm confused

BS is bachelor of science

anyway, undergrad-4 year degree, typically received at a university

grad student/postgrad-graduate school/school for a degree after you got your initial degree. typically at a university
