SSLP had 3
MMLP had 6
TES had 3
Encore had 8
looking back at the credits I'm still surprised dre had little as 3 beats on SSLP and TES. I thought he was involved way more than that in those albums.

Dre was working in the background helping Em with the boards adn coaching Him!!
When it got to encore, perhpas Em just let Dre do his thing!!
besides Em was just not with it lyrically on the aforementioned album..
But Encore-I Love That Beat!!
Em & Dre seem to flo really well on That Track!!

Em is 100% resposible for the blame that encore was horrible, if your trying 2 hint it was dre cause he did 8 beats
-
Dr. Dre FULLY worked on half the tracks he gave Em. Just Lose It, Mosh, Ass Like That and Encore were produced & mixed by Dre, while the other 4 Dre joints were mixed by Eminem.
That whole album is the perfect example of a record label ruining a credible artist.

Dre's beats on encore was some banging stuff, Em just fucked them up with the direction he took them in. listen to the instrumentles

"Rain Man", "Encore", "Puke", and "Just Lose It" are near perfect Dre beats Eminem ruined on that album.

I'm not trying to hint anything, I'm just saying a bit ironic that the album he gets the most dre beats its the worst.
Oh and I think Puke was produced by Em not Dre

How the hell did he ruin Encore. That song is great. I agree with the 'Rain Man' opinion though. That beat was sick. Eminem's silly voice on that ruined it big time.

What a waste of beats. Isn't it also ironic that after Dre contributed those beats on Encore, that the quality of his beats started to take a decline?
Is it a curse?
-
Yeah, I can't belive Dre produced wack tracks like My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady, Just Lose It, Puke.
At least he didn't produce Without Me

well one of the reasons why i like the marshall mathers lp more than the slim shady lp is that there is a lot more Dr.Dre & Mel-man involment( great combination imo).
and yeah it's really ironic that encore had even more dre involvement than eminems second album ( however with different co-producers, so that's probably why i didn't really like those beats on encore).
but i agree that eminem's different flow on encore ruined it.

Didn't Dre make all the tracks he did on Encore in like 2 weeks in Florida or something. I think that's the difference, instead of them actually being in the studio for a long period of time bouncing ideas off of each other, they just rushed it. It's similiar to why Dre's beats nowadays are boring pieces of repetitve shit, he's not actually crafting beats for artists, he's making short loops and emailing them to whoever.

yeah i guess you're right. the whole recording process must have been a lot different. eminem probably had a lot more control over that album than on the first two albums, which would also explain the different flow.

But I think it's not ironic that the worst album of Eminem has no FBT beats...
Everybody says D12 world and Encore was the worst works of EM... And if you look credits of all em' albums you'll realize FBT (Jeff Bass and Mark Bass) produced nuthin on d12 world and encore. Slim Shady LP, Marshal Mathers LP, Devils Night and The Eminem Show had the best production team for an eminem album. Dre, FBT, Steve King and Em's himself... Nowadays he needs it more that before

Excellent point didn't even realize that... I wonder if it was Em or Interscope who pushed FBT out the door?

I think Eminem thought at the time he could put out ANYTHING and people would still buy it. All those kiddie, comedic 1st singles, yeah they sold, but most had some wit to them. Most of the tracks on Encore had no direction and where just Em recording himself on the toilet or asking Dre what is gay. Dumb shit like that, that obviously he thought for some reason people just could not wait to buy once again. If he would have known he would get the backlash he got with this last album, I think it would have been different.
