This is old times, your old cell phone
Your old car, your old friends your old times
Your old computer, your old job, that old grind/
Imagine if you went back to that old girl
that old life, I'm talking about that old year
And you saw everything and it looked so clear
And you could now take on the world with no fear
Well every year, I step up and re-evaluate
I'm trying to do this the best way before it's too late
But every situation has it's best and worst outcomes
So as I upgrade to higher mental/social stations
at the same time I am still caught contemplating
Whether I got the most out of my chosin' fate and...
trying to do it now another way before it's too late and..
the clock keeps fucking tickin my life get older, money being spent
I keep downgrading cheaper living and cheaper rent
I keep taking this excess cash and chasing this next type dream
I keep failing left and right, I keep writing poetry overlooking sea's
I keep walking along trotted paths, I keep fleeing from every scene
I keep moving forward I keep moving back, it's better-then it's worse
But even if you on the best course you still trying to make the most
So then if the worst comes, you feel like a failure, yes, ofcourse
But what's winning and what's losing, really it's how I play the game
It's all me, it's all mine, it's one life, one love, so there can only be one King!
