Title: Classic West Coast Album
Post by: arthurnelson88 on September 05, 2007, 02:20:23 PM
Wat is a classic Westcoast album besides:

The Chronic
Doggystyle
All Eyez On Me
Makaveli
Death Certificate
Niggaz4Life
Safe + Sound
Season Of Da Siccness
*and for some of you* Bow Down

And why is it classic, wats its value.  wats so great about it that every other Rap/Westcoast album doesnt have

no dickriding classics like "AmeriKKKaz Most Wanted" or "Dogg Food", IMO Cubes first album only got that label was bcuz he dissed NWA and it had New York beats and they had an New York magazine rate it.  And Dogg Food is my shit dont git it twisted but it was lacking something.

I really disagree with you excluding AMW from that list. Besides, he dissed NWA the hardest on Death Certificate with No Vaseline anyway. And what's so bad about New York beats. Bomb Squad was tight back in the day, and the guest features by Chuck D and Flava Flav were on point. Not only that, but AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted had a lot of social commentary and great storytelling. Hell, overall it's probably my favorite solo Cube album.

Power, In a major way, Get in where you fit in, Bizzare ride to the Pharcyde and we can claim No one can do it better cause Texas is half West coast anyway and he was backed by NWA.
