Scarface To Release New Album Through Def Jam In '08
Posted: 08/06/2007 by: HHNLive.com
Hip-Hop legend Scarface will release a new album in 2008 through Def Jam Records after signing a one album deal with the legendary record label in July.
Scarface hasn't released an album in five years but maintains strong ties with Def Jam including discovering multi-platinum superstar Ludacris as President of the now defunct Def Jam South.
The new album, "Undisputed", will feature production from Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Hi-Tek, Salih Williams and DJ Paul & Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. Guest artists will include Ludacris, 2 Pac, Snoop Dogg, Z-Ro, UGK, Bushwick Bill, Kelly Rowland and more.
On a side note "Never" was apparently produced by N.O. Joe 8)

yea true that 8)

Can't wait. We really don't need 2pac on it though. C'mon, "Smile" was enough.
-
If he has some unreleased verses from pac, then why not? I don't see a problem with it. Now if it's some old shit that people have heard like twenty billion times then forget about it.
-
Fuck yeah, can't wait. And I have no problem with Pac on there. At least we know that they actually recorded together (and made some incredible joints). Plus there is no way in hell Face is gonna disgrace a Pac verse.
Early candidate for album of the year 08.

Too many guests. Hopefully he keeps it simple like The Fix.
-
Will his group The Product be featured on this album...anybody know?

Who gives a fuck? If it's good it's good.

It's all hype. 2pac, Snoop, and Dr.Dre probably won't be on it.

Because you know that they have never done tracks with Scarface before right?

2 PAC - PRODUCED BY DR DRE

Fix had Nas, Jay, Beans, Kanye, WC, Kelly Price, Faith Evans, shit who else am I missin?
Face's collabs always come off tight, don't worry bout that.

If Dre really does have a beat on there lets hope it's ill as 'Game Over', not one of the countless duds hes been churning out.
About time 'Face put out a new joint.

Yeah, well, that's the thing, it won't be as good if it's watered down with guest spots. The more Scarface the better.

He had 3 songs with other rappers on The Fix, just about right, don't need anymore than that. Here it says 7 rappers or "more" will be on it, I don't want a compilation, I want a Scarface album.
-
Good news to hear. I am a little surprise he went back to Def Jam to have it distributed but it's all good. I don't know if he will have ALL of those guests on the album. I mean I'm sure he has a unreleased Pac verse from a session around somewhere. Yeah lets hope if Dre is doing beats on the album he makes some gutter shit. Mr. Lee, N.O. Joe, Bido, Face, Mike Dean, Dre and a Kanye Beat. If you get that for beats you good.

I agree 100%, I'm sayin that if this is a true Face album, he's gonna make sure it comes off tight. Which means that it won't be diluted w/ a bunch of features.
-
We'll have to wait and see but with that many features and so many different people contributing such different production styles the album already sounds like a fucking mess.
-
^Scarface has yet to release a "mess" of an album so I think we'll all be pleased once again.
