Lol this nigga wants 29 year old Kobe to enter the dunk contest. It's called the RISING STARS dunk contest for a reason.

But yeah thats still crazy to see Kobe still throwin it down like that.

I think niggas arent even allowed to enter the dunk contest if they have played more than 3 seasons in the NBA or somethin

I wish more developed players would do the dunk contest rather than that gay ass skills competition

cus the dunk contest has NO hype around it anymore. Not because the dunkers are good dunkers, but because half the time theyre nobodies. Remember Jordan vs Nique....classic shit. Tell me you wouldnt be hyped to see Kobe vs Lebron in a dunkoff.

They are forced to do the skills competition... the NBA can book players for it. Hence no suprise that LeBron is in it all the time even though anybody with common sense knows he's not built for it physically.

The dunk contest is not what it once was, which is why Kobe will never enter one again... if it were anything like the classic competitions, we'd see all the big names. But the NBA made it a youth thing. It's ultimately their decision.

their decision. BUT, if some stars like Kobe or Lebron stepped up publicly and said "Id love to be in the dunk competition", the league could do nothing BUT let them.

Another great decision by the NBA. I love watching Nate Robinson fuck up 20 times before he actually makes it

It's not a dunk contest...Don't get me wrong, I would love to see the dunk contest between the top NBA superstars, but it's just not worth it for them. I'm spoiled enough to see Kobe do these dunks in-game on a regular basis...PeACe

that fool gets paid more in one game than most people do in a whole year and he can't fly from the free throw line for one night on all star week end?
