More specifically, a MacBook (Black edition). I don't like how the paint on the white ones rubs off where your palms touch. The black one's also got more space but i don't know if it really worth the extra 300 bucks... I'm definitely gonna wait for the Mac OS Leopard though... SO fucking sick of windows, i think it's time i made the change

man i honestly think its one the best decisions you will ever make... luckily the last windows machine i owned was runing windows 95 and we won that computer... once i started playing with the mac (os 7) i believe at the time i never looked back its now been 10 years that i have been a mac head.... and its only gotten better since then...
do it but be warned i think once you really go mac you wont go back...lol
obviously the operating systems are different so you will be a little thrown off but once you get used to it you will usually realize how you lived without it.. no virus problems or malware and shit like you have to worry about on Windows
pretty much just like anything apple usually makes
"it just works"

OH U JUST GONNA BUY THE BLACK ONE WHENEVER U WANT, LIKE A SLAVE?!?!?! WHY NOT PUT THE WHITE ONE TO WORK OR SHOULD THEY BE IN SOME PRETTY ASS OFFICE SOMEWHERE?!?!?

i have a white one, is about 6 months old, and its not fading on or around the touchpad, but my friends black one is
if you want to save some money, go for the white one and buy the hard disk + memory yourself and it will be about 1/4 the price of what apple charge

Sounds good, but where do i get Mac Ram? or does it use Regular DDR?? I've built a desktop before but i'm scared to fuck with laptops' insides, they are pretty frail and there's too many connected wires. I think i fucked over my current Toshiba laptop pretty severely by opening it, though it still works (just freezes all the fucking time). Are there any drawbacks for Macs vs. WIndows ? (Except for games of course, but i heard about Boot Camp)

ram is easy to put in.. dont worry about that.. and its regular ram you just got to find out exactly what kind your computer uses... try ..
www.ramseeker.com and go under the mac section and it will tell you which one and give you the lowest prices...
i think on the macbooks you just take out the battery and its under there..
by the way i have a MacBookPro the 2.2 ghz 15inch model (lowest version of the MacBookPros)

he ram & hard disk is a "user replaceable" part, so it wont void your warranty
both are located under the battery behind the silver strip, it's easy^2 to replace
