brisbane for the beaches and women 8)..
its too bad i live in melbourne :(
melbourne is good, the weather is up n down, sunny n beautiful one day, pissing down non-stop the next.. but u get used to. melbournes also the sporting capitol of aus if your into your sports, plenty of Aussie Rules Football (which u need to check out if u havnt before), soccer, cricket, pretty much anything
what kind of work are u wanting to get into?
sydney or melbourne would have the most opurtunities.
i havnt been to anywhere other than victoria n queensland, so i cant really talk indepth about those places sorry.
-
Where you been, muflucka? Leavin Z all alone to do the dirty work.
-
looked up on queensland is def another option, cairns looks kinda nice being rainforest n beach but bit too much middle of knowhere
i love rugby, aussie rules is great too, similar in a way to mix of league and union..plus fit guys and bodies
im a lady by the way so the girls arent a factor in my decision lol 8)
im into IT theres a growing market in perth, and sure i can get a sponsor there
only thing puts me off melbourne is its not too dissimilar to london in a way just nicer weather and beach access, but alot of hoodlums and stress
-
perth is a nice city, but the IT market there is fucked. i used to live in perth & do IT, but it got sorta ridiculous after a while so i moved out of perth to canberra. canberra probably has the best IT market in australia, the companies here just throw the money away, and helpdesk chumps can get $100k EASILY, but canberra isnt for alot of people. it's a small city, has a few pubs/clubs/whatever, and thats about it, but its definitely for me.
sydney again has a fucked IT market, everybody wants to be the next bill gates, so ofcourse everyone is in IT in the biggest city in australia
melbourne's IT is good, but the weather is retarded, 4 seasons in one day
brisbane i've only been to a couple of times, but i'm not down with hot weater AT ALL
i will move back to perth one day, in about 5-10 years once ive made my money in canberra

perth is hella nice and peaceful lived there for 10 months when i was 19 and loved it.
-
thanks honey
i liked the look of perth for the weather to as its pretty nice all year around, no el nino, averaging mostly 28-32 degrees c
ill look into canberra (and brisbane a little too) if i like the look of canberra ill probably hit you up with osme info on good and bad areas to live, commutability but thats given me a new area to research cheers!!
how long have you been in canberra, and is is good for diving and also beautiful spots to just go to and chill out?

hey hon, sorry but was that long ago, do you have any reccomendations of whether to live north or south side etc
any info would be greatly appreciated
on a side note is there much bball there ;0) i wanna keep my game up
-
Honey? nigga wtf is u gay?
-
if you move to perth, north side is where you want to live. south side is ghetto ass areas
ive been in canberra for 2 years now, it's close enough to drive to melbourne & sydney for a weekend, and the flights up & down the eastcoast are cheap, perth is expensive to fly anywhere else in australia. canberra has alot of places to drive to for day trips, but work keeps me busy enough so i can't do much of that. in winter though, we have the ski fields about 2.5hrs away
-
I lived in Hillary's right by the ocean went to school at curtin and worked at my family's indian restaurant called Agni. i think they ended up selling the restaurant though after i left
-
Honey? nigga wtf is u gay?
lol i already said i am a woman fool ,a and most old school on here know that, if ou dont know what one of those is i assume you is gay nigga
haha just messing
yeah im a woman petite, slim athletic with big boobs :0) and down with hip hop and bball since about '86
-
ohh my bad i just assumed ur were a guy lol :-[
-
im a lady...
Girl I'm sorry but I cracked the hell up. ;D "Little Britain..."
The family of a friend of mine lived in Australia for maybe a year recently, they came back just a few months ago. I hear they liked it. But then again it was warm over there while it's cold over where I live, so...
-
lol yeah i thought of little britain as i typed...classic ish ;D
where are you from bro?
-
^^lol my bad i had no idea you were a girl.
-
all good :0)
btw im also looking at adelaide as standard of living looks good, cheaper housing and general life...
...anyone know much or can compare perth to adelaide 8)
-
adelaide is SHIT for IT work, probably the worst place in australia
south australia has recently gone into a recession (been all over the news) with people leaving the state. one of the bigger IT outsourcers here in Aust called EDS has been firing people left right & center
other than that, ive never been there myself
