Props for the interview. I love the way these guys think.
Too bad I couldn't find the damn CD anywhere >:(

Very strong interview. There's a lot of things that the people who live outside the coast need to understand. Los Angeles is no longer a gangster scene. It evolved and seperated into various subgenres, particulary Underground and Mainstream Rap. Gangsta Rap is 1990's and will never regain the exposure it once had when N.W.A. blew us away.
With Muggs and Jacken's album out, this one is going to go down as the no. 1 contender that could have beaten heavyweights 50 Cent and Kanye West. I'll make sure of it. To prove it, I'm gonna send a letter to Sick Jacken and Muggs via MySpace. I'll post my response, and probably follow it up with an interview for my Pocos Pero Locos Rewind site (Livejournal).
Eddie, thanks so much for the interview. I really loved this shit.

Muggs only doing 2-4 beats on the next Cypress album= :grumpy:
I don't know about that one. Hopefully the other producers will be Alchemist, Fred Wreck and other Soul Assassin affiliates.

Yeah Fred would fit in nicely for beats. That Till Death Do Us Part beat he did on their last album was bangin. B-Real does alot of production also. He produced almost the entire 1st album for Psycho Realm. So if they keep the beats with Fred, Muggs, Alchemist, and B-Real that will be cool.

^^yeah, you can't fuck with that lineup! i'm just happy there's going to be a new Cypress album. It's too bad Muggs isn't gonna be more directly involved though.

Yeah I always got the vibe B was down to do it more than Muggs. I think Muggs has his hands full with his label and radio show. As long as he is still contributing something that will be dope. They also said he would not be doing alot of beats on the last one and he did all but 2 or 3. They have such a distinct sound that not just any producer IMO could do beats for them.

That was a good fuckin' interview Eddie, it flowed real well. Major props.
