Title: Sticky Fingaz- Black Trash
Post by: AlerG on July 22, 2001, 06:35:28 AM
i just copped this album and listened to it all the way through and read the lyrics all the way through every song off of ohhla.com and all i have to say is this album without a doubt in my mind is a hip-hop classic. i have never heard something so well put together and something that covers so many topics with a wide vocabulary. the 17.99 that i paid for this cd is the best 17.99 i've spent all year. it's contributions like this that better hip-hop. i give this cd a 5/5 or 10/10 whatever you wanna call it. you can't look at this cd and look for the unbelievable production that you would hear on a Dre cd, you have to listen to this cd all the way through without skipping a track the first time. there was not one song that i didn't like mainly because there was an introduction to every song and it just went so well over. this is my favorite cd of the year and i will guarantee you that there will be nothing better unless Rakim drops this year, which i still feel won't touch it. copp this shit or burn it or something because it is 72 minutes well spent, peace.

4.25/5....Not a classic, because it could have been better with better production...But none the less, a real tight album...

I coppd Black Trash last year, back in November, jus' after it's US release online & it's tight, I havn't bump'd it in a while but it's all good. IMO the production is hella on form. Tha best joints IMO r
"Why", "Come On", Get It Up" & "What If I Was White".

this cd was dope as hell, i had it like 3 monthes before it released (the retail) (as did many other people) and i was pleased with it....the only complaint was production on some songs, but alot of it was dope...

tight album not classic though.  Original idea. I would give it a 4.25 or a 8.5.
