His album is way better than Kanyes and 50s :'( :
Barry Manilow’s collection of ’70s standards (RCA) is looking 100k-ish, getting a boost from his QVC special. Chamillionaire (Universal Motown) has a shot at hitting 100k as well. James Blunt’s second album (Atlantic) is likely to end up in the 80k neighborhood. The follow-up to KT Tunstall’s platinum-plus debut (Virgin) will tally 50-60k in its first week. And Eddie Vedder’s acoustic-based Into the Wild soundtrack (RCA) should end up at 35-40k.
Also expected to crack the Top 50 are fast-talking MC Twista (Atlantic), U.K. regular guy turned opera singer Paul Potts (Columbia) and Between the Buried and Me (Victory).

Damn, its says a 'Shot' so that mean he may not even get to 100K!! Damn this was the labels fault, y wud u release the album so soon after the 50/ Kanye saga, knowing that the aftermath of those two wud still be in effect....this album shuda dropped 2nd of October....
-
its a shame , chamilionaire wont panic. Sound of revenge didnt sell huge at the start.
-
I'm pretty sure it will continue to sell. Especially when "Bill Collecta" is released as a single. That shit sounds like fucking Ridin Dirty Part 2.
-
I still haven't even listened to this album. I'm just gonna go buy it today!
-
The album aint that good tho and I dont think that new Chamillionaire gonna reach Gold Status this time
-
This album shits on Sound Of Revenge IMO. SOR was your typical southern album, this time he really showed growth.
-
he deserves to go platnum.
-
lol whole album is hot garbage, all the beats suck, maybe it'll be a grower but i dont know...ive tried listenin to it like 3 times and shit aint sounding good at all.
-
Doing 100k isn't all that bad. Dude didn't have a "Ridin' Dirty" out the gate this time...now he has to push "The Bill Collecta" for all its worth. Hopefully he hits Gold in time, which is becoming increasingly respectable.
-
That's a pity. He should've done 1.1 mill compared to Kanye & 50
-
horrible news. but how would they know it already, the album just got released. let's chill niggas.
-
Such a shame. This is why I'm holding off on buying my album, cause I want my sale to count in the US instead of Canada - I'll be going down there in a week or so to help out the cause.
Cham really deserves more, though.
-
he deserves to go platnum.
beyond platnum...this cd is maddddd goood 8)
-
WOW..i really thought he'd sell a lot more, hopefully this is wrong...well i did my part today to help out his sales ;)
u don't see hip hop albums gaining #s as the weeks go on, but he somehow managed to do that with his last album, hopefully the bill collecta blows up (probably will, sounds like ridin dirty pt 2) and then his #s grow
-
has he named his next single? ???
-
has he named his next single? ???
the bill collecta
-
dam that sucks compared to 50 and Kanye, for such a solid effort. First 6 tracks are so dope 8)
I can see Bill Collecta doing well, good choice
-
dam he should release the Devin The Dude song instead of bill collector
-
dam he should release the Devin The Dude song instead of bill collector
i don't think it'd do well as a single, i'm sure the bill collecta has the best chance of being a hit on the album...but the devin track does bump 8)

It almost seems like the more dope a album is, the less people buy it. Unless you are a chosen few. This album is bangin and it is like it just was released and nothing is said about it. But his 1st album was like that and look where it ended up.
