after reading the topic about snoop pleading guilty to weapons charges... i just has to listen to the doggfather intro.... with the violin music in the background and the tv reporters = classic
''He could be the most successful rap star in America. His first album sold 4 million copies, but lately snoop doggy dog is spending more time in the criminal courts building than the studio...
There has been no shortage in controversy for rapper snoop doggy dog. His followers called the dogg pound say they are trying to present a positive imagine in negative times...
Meantime prosecutors say so they are not planning to drop murder charges against rap music star snoop doggy dogg... Prosecutors may have to drop murder charges against snoop doggy dogg.
Snoop: Yeah... This is dedicated to the niggas who said gangsta raps is dead... Fuck yall!''

Yeah that was good. Some of the other skits are corny though. Like the one when he told the kid to never be like him and be a doctor or a Laker. The message was cool but the timing of it was ??? (murder case). I don't know, maybe that's just me. But it was a little wierd to hear on a Snoop album at that time.

The Intro to Blue Carpet Treatment is better. The beat is dope and he flows his ass off.

why was it a dre-diss?
-
why was it a dre-diss?
Because Dre said "Gangsta rap is dead" in an interview or something. If it was actually directed at Dre I don't know.
-
He had a lot of indirect Dre disses on there....peep the beginning of Freestyle Conversation:
Homey: Ai Dogg, let me holla at'cha man
Snoop: Wuz up home?
Homey: Word is on the streets
Your beats gone be delicate since Dre did shake the spea's out,
man.
Snoop: Delicate? Beats? So that's what makes me now? Nigga, I don't give a fuck about no beat!!
