yesh is the album any good ?

Never heard that before. Surprisingly it worked quite well.
+1 for posting.
-
the single had 5 or 6 mixes on it

The album is OK, nothing spectacular.
Xzibit's track is nice, very dark. Cool J's is a dope track, close to poetry and Redman's is dope and dark as fuck. Onyx's is dope too, and Mobb Depp's is ok, but kinda strange since it's just one verse in the whole song. There's some unknown or not-so-famous rappers, some good some bad. Mother Superia is wack, and Nikki D too. Scoota's track is nice, sorta like Twista. And both Jay tracks sound nice.
As for the music, it's all european production mixed with some melodies and verses from Opera's finest works. Some work better than others. The dopest ones are the ones that come from Puccini's work: "Tosca" (3 tracks) and "Turandot" (1 track). There's some Delibes and Offenbach thrown in for good, and of course Borodin's "Prince Igor".
Overall, I'd say it's a very interesting album. It could have been WAAAAY better, but I bumped the hell out of it back in the day and still think it's a dope and very refreshing cd.
If y'all are open minded and are intrigued by the concept, it deserves at least a download.

That Onyx track is very dope too, one of my fav. Onyx tracks. If somebody want it, holla...
