Personaly I've followed the start of his rise to the top of the westcoast map n' the late eighties....even though he he had already been holding it down in the indy circuit since the begining of the 80's...(Player's, Don't stop rappin' and Raw & uncut) Born to mack was his first major label release (Jive)...I got put on to Short' when his Life is....lp came out.
I was like dammm..............screaming Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch.....everywhere I went....yo and ever since I've been hooked on the playboy rhymes

but it seem's to me for some reason...ever since Ten.....it don't have the same effect on me as it used to....I mean I still cop the joints
but.....Short dog kinda fell of ever since he packed up and went to Atlanta....(what's your opinion on this hip hop legend)'

just an opninion from a Too $hort fan 4 life..

I been a fan of his since way back also and got all of his albums, and you're right on the money about after album 10 it not being the same. His last 2 albums we're not the same. Even the promotion for the albums were weak ass hell here in LA. Hope he comes back hard sometime.

My favorites are probably "Get In Where You Fit In" and "Cocktails" though. I had "Gettin' It (Album #10)" but I lost it and had to order it again.... it should be comin' in tha mail any day now.
I bought "Can't Stay Away" but wasn't feelin' it as much.... it's still an okay cd though. But not good enough to make me wanna buy "You Nasty"... I haven't copped that yet, aint sure if I will.... thinking about it though.
My loss of interest has nothing to do with him moving to Atlanta though.... I knew about that but really thought nothin of it..... he just moved, Freaknik = Hoes.... where else do you expect Too Short to be?

so i grew up on that nigga and got mad respect for him...i'm also a fan and i'm waiting for that new joint "Chase The Cat"...i'm still waitin' for a Too $hort/Dr. Dre collabo...fuck thats my dream!
