or somthing like that... but yes, he is biting snoop in that........ he performed it during BETs award show...
everybody luved it
-
Yeah he performed it when Snoop was on stage with him so he must of been cool with it.

Yo...I've been down wit Jay-Z since his first lp "Reasonable doubt" first day type shit......standing in line on release day N' shit
Now I don't even bother getting his lp...unless I run outta options. (nuthin' else to buy)
"He is more Westcoast with every new album"
Is it just me or should Jay just make the final jump and move out here to live...(CA) he alredy tries to embody the westcoast way of life......next stop is the after party....and after the party it's........ect
I'll just listen to my lil' bro's copy...
-
I like jay-Z but only some of his shit I can stand. Other stuff is just like, wtf you on Shawn.
Anwayz the recent song I liked from Jay-Z was "Guilty Until Proven Innocent". I dunno why but that song got played quite a few times on the box and I just grew to like it.
-
H to the Izzo is gonna be the anthem...Watch this be Jigga's biggest hit yet...
-
how much you wanna bet people will think that snoop took it from jay z? thats funny
-
Thats what I was thinkin... people will think Snoop is biting Jay Z's style... when its the other way around... either way... if they believes its Jay's style, they dont know hip hop so its all good!
-
They play that song non stop on my radio station.
-
The Jigga's joint's called "IZZO (H.O.V.A.)". I just saw that on Billboard and there's no question it's a banging track. Jigga ain't bitin' Snoop; at that level they don't bite each other, they just use each other stuff to show love. Would you say that Snoop's bitin' Puff when he says "Eastsidaz come out and play" with the bottles and shit at the beginning of the Eastsidaz "I luv It" video, just like Puff did for the "Flava in ya ear remix" video a few years back???? No... So it don't always have to be negative, biting and shit... Keep it real, y'all...
-
What album is it from?
-
It's from his new album "The Blueprint" out on Sept. 25....
-
The song isn't anything special. People are overhyping it.
-
To tell you the truth I haven't even heard it since the BET awards. I haven't listened to the radio in almost 2 months.
-

Jay-Z got yet another album coming out?
-

shit i need 2 shut up now
-
Somebody told me the name of the song was "the H-O-V-A anthum" or something of that sort. I think he goes:
"h to the zO, V to the IzA"
Its an alright song... nothing special.

read above dogg " h to tha izzo" it's tha name , n true i don't find nothing special in this track :-/

So what the hell is so special about "I Luv It", new Eastsidaz joint (and I'm a MAJOR Snoop fan)??? Y'all hate on Jigga for no fuckin' reason whatsoever. But check this out: various artists ranging from Scarface, Dr Dre, Snoop all the way to Eminem, AZ, Mos Def, KRS-One and even Prodigy (who has a serious beef with Jigga as we all know) show official respect to JAY-Z as a LYRICIST. So stop being hataz... We all know DRE's genius and he wouldn't choose Jigga to write "Still D.R.E", his very first, crucial and career-defining comeback single if Jigga was just average (especially since he has lyrical heavyweights such as Slim Shady and Xzibit at arms reach). So mind my word: "IZZO (H.O.V.A.)" (the OFFICIAL title of the song, check Billboard) will be an anthem this summer. It's NOT Jigga's best joint by any count, but it IZ a banger and a whole lot better than some of those joints y'all be showin' love to, just because they're from West Coast artists. KEEP IT REAL... Dope is dope and love is love even if it comes from MARS... Peace out...
-
the song is weak...its just a comercial radio song>don't get me wrong jay z comes tight on alot of shit but i just ain't fealin this

Dead Presidents is prolly my fav. Jay-Z song, that shits dope, H to the Izzo is aight it doesnt suck, but it aint great. I hope The Blueprint is better than Roc La Familia, there was only a few joints i liked on there.
-
it's just another "hey papi" song in my eyez and through my ears, great lyracist or not the song is weak

that's right, noone said Pac was biting Biggie when he did that chorus for Hit 'em up. He didn't bite puffy aswell when he said "JAAAAAY-Z, come out an pLAAAAAYYYYY, MOOOBB DEEEEEEEEP, come out and PLAYYYYYYYYY" so it's all good
-
i feel that song is tight as hell. over here i get power 99 a philly radio station andthey play it all the time. it's not bad like everyone claims it to be.
-
Obviously the majorty of peepz on the board aint feelin this, but I think its tight as hell. When im on the freeway making that long ass drive back home, this shit gets me hyped when I hear it on the radio. I know alot of yall don't like Jay Z, but personally he's one of my favz. His flow and delivery is tight to me especically in that song with Twista "Is that Yo Bitch"
"I don't wear alot of gold cuz its tacky........I bust a tank top, all-stars, and khakis
-
I wouldn't regard Jay-Z as one of my faves, infact he is no where near one of my faves though I do respect him as a rapper alittle. I aint even heard this new song yet. My fave of his is that shit wit Scarface in, I think it is called "This Can;t Be Life" Tight song.
-
Well I used to like jay-z but his last album the dynasty just pissd me off and it had only 3 good tracks and all other were shit produced by som next up producers dat no2 knows about

GOOD LOOKIN' OUT KuNiVa dog, for giving me my (well-deserved) props. Everybody in the know really understands what I said earlier about Jigga and the new joint. Tastes are still tastes though. We can't all feel every single joint comin' out but respect's STILL due to Hova as an MC... 1...
