Both albums are extremely dope. I can't figure out which one is better. Great example of how good DJ Muggs works with artists. I knew that GZA and Muggs were going to be a great collabo when i heard about that project and it pretty much lived up to my expectations. I've never heard of this Jacken dude though so i was truly amazed when i heard 'Legend Of The Mask And The Assasin'. I hope Muggs makes more of these albums.

always been a big fan of jacken but i gotta go with grandmasters on this......cant take nothing away from mask and the assasin
-
gza...that album is sick
-
production wise-muggs vs. gza
lyrically-muggs vs. gza ( but only slightly, mainly due to 'el barrio' and 'ciclon' which i felt were outta place, especially in the case of el barrio)
.....i'm a huge supporter of sick symphonies and sick jack, but gza is a legend (liquid swords is easily top ten of all time on any list, imo)...not that jack isnt an incredible mc in his own right (both war story albums are in my personal top 10 records of all time), its just that its such an unfair comparison due to gza's legacy..........i mean, how many recent records are better than these two, period? better yet, how many mc's are on the level of both jack and gza lyrically nowadays? (and to those who hate, absolutely jack deserves to be compared to gza, its a very legit comparison lyrically)

now we just gotta wait for soul assasins 3

that shit was suppossed to drop a while ago......i dunno what the hold up is

i think muggs just took on too many projects at the same time with grandmasters, mask and the assasins, launching his record label and touring
should be out soon i hope

I love both albums.

ima go wit Muggs Vs Sick Jacken.
For some reason i didnt really feel Muggs vs GZA at all.
The beats were dope on the Gza one but i dont like his flow. It sounded real boring.
I couldnt listen to the whole cd other then the beats.

If Muggs had worked with GZA when they were both on form for a full album, shit would of been blunted.
There are two Muggs/GZA collabs from that era 'Fat Lady Sings' and 'Third World' which both burn anything of the Muggs v Gza project.
Sicken Jacken lp also failed to reach the heights of Muggs glory years.
As for the better record out of the two i would have to say the Muggs/GZA tape, since GZA is the far superior MC.
Soul Assasins III bring it on.
