-
TBH (to be honest (just for the people who didn't know)) I don't have a clue who UGK is. Can ya'll gimme a song or summin' of his so I can download.
-
they're an underground southern rap group
not to say their some unknown group, they were on some pretty big hit's
they were on jay-z's big pimpin', Three 6 Mafia's Sippin' on some syrup, and Ludacris' stick em up
-
I first heard of UGK from Spice 1 a couple years ago. On his "187 he wrote" cd he gives a shout out to UGK and he's like "I got a pocket full of stooooones"..... and I dont know why, I kinda liked the way that sounded so I found that song on the Menace II Society soundtrack.
Then I heard Pimp C on Master P's "Ghetto D" cd. He's featured on that song "I Miss My Homies" (I think that's the name)..... yeah, well later I bought "Ridin' Dirty" and of course I think everyone heard them on "Big Pimpin" and "Sippin On Some Syrup".... they're tight.
If you haven't heard of them, you should probably check out :
"Murder"
"I'm So Bad"
"Pocket Full Of Stones"
"Tough Guy" (with OutKast, from the "Shaft" soundtrack)
"Pop The Trunk" Celly Cel ft/ UGK

They used to only be known as "The Under Ground Kings"...
Yea they are tight...
-
UGK (Pimp C in particular) are tight. I have been waiting for their Dirty Money album to come out for over a year now!! I have NEVER seen an album get delayed so many times.

They used to only be known as "The Under Ground Kings"...
naw they're still called that, that's what UGK stands for
under ground kings
-
I know, but back then it used to actually say "Underground Kingz" on their album covers...Now they only use UGK...
-
I think they are pretty tight, well atleast from the songs I heard them in.
