fuckin' suck. They put these guys on PPVs & build an image of them being unstoppable or whatever but in reality these guys bring nothing more than the most boring matches ever. Mark Henry, Umaga, The Great Khali or Big Daddy V??? Please, what a joke. What happened to being big/fat/tall & actually being a good wrestler??? Remember Yokozuna, Vader, Kevin Nash or Bam Bam Bigelow who actually did somersaults in the air??? These guys were fun to watch. Why don't WWE tune into TNA & check out Samoa Joe & Solofa Fatu, Jr. (Rikishi) & learn a thing or two from the real professionals.
-
Wrestling fell off. They concentrate less on the wrestling and more on the bullshit stories nowadays.

Correction, WWE/ECW fell off. TNA is popping or whatever you wanna call it. Plus stories have always played a huge part in wrestling. Just look at the Attitude era, you wanna tell me they weren't focusing on stories back then??? That was probably more of a soap opera than it is today. I'd also like to add Vince McMahon & Jonathan Coachman are way more entertaining than most of the wrestlers on the WWE roster.

Stories sucks too, to tell you the truth.

Yeah, which is why I said "bullshit" stories.

Do you really think that Yokozuna and Kevin Nash were good wrestlers (as in real wrestling?) Yokozuna was a fat dude that, in his era, was the major heel that every face wanted to defeat to get the title from. It has always been that way in wrestling. He was so big that that fact alone made him a threat to anyone. Thatīs how it worked with Earthquake and Andre or any other fat/big heel, just like it does today with Khali or Mark Henry. Nash is a tall guy who has so much charisma that he just had to be over whether as heel or face.
Bam Bam and Vader on the other hand were big guys that really could wrestle. I mean, who would have expected them to do a moonsault or any other highflying move?
The problem with the WWF/WWE was always that they didnīt rely so much on actual ability than charisma. Why shouldnīt they actually, it was always about storylines and not so much about wrestling ability. As long as there was a blowoff to a feud and the right guy won it really didnīt matter how much actual wrestling happened in the ring. Ask Hogan.

The big guy/giants get pushed because in all actuality they would be very difficult to defeat in a fight, so that part is more "shoot" than storyline.

Well I wouldn't have mentioned Nash & Yokozuna if I didn't think they were good wrestlers & like I said before, not only were they good, their matches were fun to watch.

i don't know about now i havn't watched wrestling since like 2004 ,buy who cares if NOW he's not good, he's pushing what 50 and he's like 7'0 , i KNOW his body is FUCKED
but seriously as far as legacy goes you can't lump him in with the rest of the people you guys you were tlaking about.
undertaker is, was, and probably always will be THE MAN!
-
^Yeah I'm not taking anything away from him for what he did in the past, no doubt he's a legend but I really don't get too excited about a Undertaker match nowadays.
-
Undertaker's entrance alone is worth watching, especially live at a house show... speaking of which, it's been a long time since I have been to one. The last one was a Raw live show at The Staples Center where Kane tombstoned Linda McMahon on the ramp...

like I said, it was a long time.... I used to go pretty regularly when they came to L.A. ... It would be better if you could hear the commentary at a show... The commentary adds so much to the telelvision show...
