Peder - The Sour Featuring Dean Bowman

Nope it isn't a hip hop track. Peder is a photographer, actor, producer, remixer and radio/p/comedian-man from Denmark. As a part of the producergroup The Prunes he have remixed tracks from international stars like Beastie Boys, DJ Vadim, DJ Krush and The Roots. He have produced for a lot of hiphop artists in Denmark too.

The track I'm going to post today is from his newest album which isn't a hip hop album. On this album he combines organic electronica with handplayed hiphop, movielike and odd sounds and soul in a very unique way. The 13-track strong album is allmost only instrumental tracks except on 4 tracks where he gets help from the singers Joy Morgan, Ane Trolle, the gospel singer Dean Bowman and Nino Moschella from California. It's a really dope and chilled out album.

I'm posting my favorite track from the album which features Dean Bowman, he's a very skilled singer IMO and he fits the music from Peder very nice! The beat is a piano based beat (I think the piano is sampled, where have I heard it before?) with a relaxing bas, some dope layed back drums (which by the way are done by Tue Track72 of Nobody Beats The Beats) and last but not least some great horns!. The track is called The Sour, and it's about the sweet isn't as sweet without the sour :)

Wow man, really didn't see this comin!  I def like this joint, real bluesy / jazzy.  Really good shit man, thanks for puttin me up on game!

Real chilled out and smooth man, and the singer is indeed really good.Props

The parts where the sax plays are just soo dope (but I'm a Sax fiend,  so you would expect me to say that)
