-
i aint impressed...all those snippets from Only on the Left Side sounded much better then this album....he shoulda put that one out instead.
-
Half the album is cool, other half sucks. My favorites by far is the one with Jagged Edge and Buddens, and the one with 40 and Kurupt. They both got that laid back feel. Some shit to smoke to.

Had to check it out before deciding to pick it up. Beats are cool, would have been nice to have Daz's beats on here, but I think with this label most artists go with their producers when they do albums. I like the guest appearances, good to see Daz working with Yuk and alot of the Bay Area cats again. I am about halfway done with the album and it's cool, nothing spectacular

I just gave this album a "once over" and I gotta ask, why are dudes hating this album so much? It's actually pretty solid... That is considering that I didn't expect anything before listening to it, but knew I'd check it out since I'm a DPG fan. There's some hot tracks on here. Am I the only one that feels that this album is lacking some depth as far as bass goes? I mean, you can hear it and all, but it's a little flat at points. I'm going to give it another spin, there's a lot of tracks I'm feeling already.

Yeah it's cool, I like it. No different then the albums done on Real Talk Entertainment that Big Hollis does all of the beats for albums Outlawz and Bizzy Bone have done in the past. My only problem is the bland beats at times and the usual lackluster raps at times from Daz.
-
pm a link pleez?
-
I think it's a pretty boring album. Daz' lyrics are the same since he started rapping, that's nothing new, but I don't care when the beats knock my system. But on GP, they don't. And I expected a lot of these dope features, but the beats are just too weak.
-
its out in stores 2day?
-
usual from daz, but i dont normally care when the beats knock bu these are hit or miss, thats deep is a banger then you get is this what u want straight after which is bland, its a cool album to bump for a while

You guys notice that on the inside of the cover they advertise a new Kokane album coming soon and a Jay Felony "Still Trued Up". Looks like we migt get some new music from Bulletloco :D

That album for Jayo has been talked about being released for almost 2 years now.

I rember hearing about Jayo's "In the Trenches" record but never heard of this....Hope it sees the light of day
-
Albums pretty boring, beats and hooks are very average, best song imo is "Getting Money" with 40 and Kurupt. Roscoe and Jayo came corrcct tho. I just wish daz would take his time a release a really strong record rather than gettin 4 average or less in one year.
-
the tracklist looks different on the bestbuy website

I remember them talking about this album on the WCRydaz forum at least a year ago. Same label as Daz's Gangsta Party doing it. So maybe Jayo signed on with them to do a album.
-
the song with keak is dope
-
John Silva is a producer from Seattle that Daz met on his myspace...true story lol
-
just got the album and gonna listen to it tonight and give my opinion, so far heard the Kurupt/40 water track yesterday which is dope and the Budden/Jagged Edge track has been floating around for a while which I also like

I will see if Best Buy has it when I get home. They just opened one within walking distance of my house. Wrong move. ;D

LOL? daz dont produce his own albums anymore wtf
-
Album is not bad, i dont know why yall complaining bout beats, there pretty dope, they just dont pound alot, still good though, pretty solid album, coudla been better though, id give it a 7.5/10, its decent!!!
-
Dogg Pound set the bar so high in the beginning of their careers with their albums, it is damn near impossible for people to be satisfied in their new material. Good or bad. How do you top Dogg Food? Or Doggystyle? You don't IMO. But this album I love the guests but I would have liked some DPGC production on it, but hey, they probably had a agreement to do the album like this.
-
I got 1 or 2 tracks, not sure why sooo many ppl was complaining about this album :-\
I'm far from a Daz dickrider, but this ain't very close at all to "1 of his worst albums" off the top of the dome, gangsta crunk is wayyyy worse than this, and this new album is also better than this is the life i lead...i haven't heard DPGC, u know what im throwin up, i got love in these streets or THA DPG LP
-
i agree with who said.... the ALBUM IS LACKING BASS...... coulda been much better with some basslines
-
itz aight
not rlly whut i thought it wud b
kinda disapointin
i only 4 songs from tha album on my mp3
i think Only On The Left Side iz gonna b way better

-
it's a cool little project I guess.... I don't set the bar too high anymore
some good cuts on it, I like the guest appearances
-

Mike Dean let the bass go ;D , other than that its a pretty cool album, the guest spots are the highlight for me Kurupt,Yuk, Scodie, Spice 1, Budden all came correct

Yep, I bought mine yesterday. One 2 copies left at my Best Buy. I put it in my changer at the house and it sounded good, but yeah Daz should have overseen the bass on this. ;D
