Definitely one of my favorite groups of all time, Cypress Hill has a extensive discography. None of their albums sound the same. Now I know to some B-Real's voice can get annoying. THIS AIN'T THE THREAD FOR YOU. ;D So if your not up to speed on them check it out if your interested and to those fans of CH, as Game says here the breakdown:
Cypress Hill - Cypress Hill: Wow what can be said about this album that has not already. Classic debut, so many classic songs, Real Estate, Pigs, Hand On The Pump, How I Could Just Kill A Man. Muggs' beats and B and Sen Dog rhymes make the perfect combo. The legend is now born. ;D The tone of this album is gangsta throughout but beat wise it sounded like NOTHING else from that time frame.
1. I Wanna Get High
2. I Ain't Goin' Out Like That
3. Insane In The Brain
4. When The Sh-- Goes Down
5. Lick A Shot
6. Cock The Hammer
7. Lock Down
8. 3 Lil' Putos
9. Legalize It
10. Hits From The Bong
11. What Go Around Come Around, Kid
12. A To The K
13. Hand On The Glock
14. Break 'Em Off Some
Cypress Hill - Black Sunday: Probably Cypress' biggest album mainstream and sales wise. Muggs used more morbid and errie sounding beats, alot of guitar licks and heavy on the organs. Funeral music. Mood and tone still very gangsta but some insane weed anthems on here I Want To Get High and Hits From The Bong (was that a sick ass beat or what!) Even the album cover was morbid looking. Insane In The Brain, I Ain't Going Out Like That, 3 Lil Putos, Cock The Hammer. Not better than the first but it is damn good though.

1. Spark Another Owl
2. Throw Your Set In The Air
3. Stoned Raiders
4. Illusions
5. Killa Hill Niggas
6. Boom Biddy Bye Bye
7. No Rest For The Wicked
8. Make A Move
9. Killafornia
10. Funk Freakers
11. Locotes
12. Red Light Visions
13. Strictly Hip Hop
14. Let It Rain
15. Everybody Must Get Stoned - (bonus track)
Cypress Hill - III: Temples of Boom: Man it sounded like Cypress was locked up with some Buddhist priests on this one. IMO beat wise their finest album and maybe even their best album PERIOD. This album was ahead of it's time, classic. The beats were incredible, interludes were sick and lyrically on point as ever. The shocker on this one was obviously the Cube diss (not going to rehash the beef over on this again in here) and the back and forth dissing that followed it. B-Real continued to show his lyrical prowess on this album. Sen was hardly on this one. Red Light Visions is the SHIT on this. Bangs in a system. Strictly Hip Hop, Boom Biddy Bye Bye, Illusions, Let It Rain, hell the whole album is classic. First album that Cypress had a outside producer (RZA) on a track and guest appearances (U-God, RZA)

1. Boom Biddy Bye Bye - (Fugees Remix)
2. Throw Your Hands In The Air
3. Intellectual Dons - (featuring Call O Da Wild)

7. Illusions - (Q-Tip Remix)
8. Latin Lingo - (Prince Paul Mix)
9. When The Ship Goes Down - (Diamond D Remix)
Cypress Hill - Unreleased & Revamped EP: Dope ass remix album. Really gave you a glimspe inteo how Cypress' hits would sound remixed and with other producers. Wyclef's Fugees remix of Boom Biddy Bye Bye was classic and so was Muggs' Throw Your Hands In The Air.
1. Looking Through The Eye Of A Pig

4. Prelude To A Come Up - (featuring MC Eiht)
5. Riot Starter
6. Audio X - (featuring Barron Ricks)

13. Dr. Greenthumb
14. 16 Men Till There's No Men Left
15. High Times
16. Clash Of The Titans / Dust
17. Lightning Strikes
Cypress Hill - IV: This album used alot of live drums and instrumentation on it, very organic and live sounding album. Eric Bobo was a official member by this time. Black Sunday had alot of rock sounding beats but this album started to go back to that rock sound a bit. But definitely a solid hip hop album. My favorite of this was Creepin On A Come Up with MC Eiht. SICK ASS BEAT. Also Tequilla Sunrise, 16 Men Till There's No One Left, High Times (dope weed song), Feature Presentation, etc. Barron Ricks from Call O' Da Wild had some dope ass rhymes on this record.
Cypress Hill - Los Grandes Exitos En Espaņol: Spanish album of their greatest hits
(http://cover6.cduniverse.com/MuzeAudioArt/360/366304.jpg)
DISC 1: SKULL DISC:
1. Intro
2. Another Victory
3. Superstar, (Rap)
4. Cuban Necktie
5. What U Want From Me
6. Stank A** H*
7. Highlife
8. Certified Bomb
9. Can I Get A Hit
10. We Live This Sh*
11. Worldwide
DISC 2: BONES DISC:
1. Valley Of Chrome
2. Get Out Of My Head
3. Can't Get The Best Of Me
4. Man, A
5. Dust
6. Superstar, (Rock)
Cypress Hill - Skull and Bones: This double album Cypress went all in and did a rock/rap disc. Hip Hop disc was cool, rock disc was aight. Not really into rock/alternative that much but it felt like they were trying too much to cater to another audience. It worked I guess sales wise but some die hard fans felt they strayed from their formula.
1. Amplified (Fredwreck Remix)
2. Illusions (Harpischord Mix)
3. Checkmate (Hang 'Em High Remix Radio Edit)
4. Latin Lingo (Blackout Mix)
5. (Rap) Superstar (Alchemist Remix)
6. Throw Your Set In The Air (Slow Roll Remix)
Cypress Hill - Stash: Nice follow up to S&B. Dope ass remixes to some classics. My favorite was the Illusions and Throw Your Set In The Air remixes done by Muggs.
1. Intro
2. Trouble
3. Kronologik - (featuring Kurupt)
4. Southland Killers - (featuring M.C Ren/King Tee)
5. Bitter
6. Amplified
7. It Ain't Easy
8. Memories
9. Psychodelic Vision
10. Red, Meth & B - (featuring Redman/Method Man)
11. Lowrider
12. Catastrophe
13. L.I.F.E. - (featuring Kokane)
14. Here Is Something You Can't Understand - (featuring Kurupt)
Cypress Hill - Stoned Raiders: This album was about half rock and half rap. Also Cypress normally does not have but I few guests. This one they had a few and the collabos were the highlight of the album. The Red Meth & B, Here Is Something U Can't Understand, Psychodelic Vision, Lowrider, Southland Killers all dope tracks. IMO though it is probably their weakest album. Just sounded all over the place. Nice beats though.
1. Another Body Drops
2. Till Death Comes
3. Latin Thug - (featuring Tego Calderon)
4. Ganja Bus - (featuring Damin Marley)
5. Busted In The Hood
6. Money
7. Never Know
8. Last Laugh - (featuring Prodigy/Twin)
9. Bong Hit
10. What's Your Number? - (featuring Tim Armstrong)
11. Once Again
12. Number Seven
13. One Last Cigarette
14. Street Wars
15. Till Death Do Us Part
16. Eulogy
Cypress Hill - Till Death Do Us Part: This album was a mixture of sounding like IV and Black Sunday. Really this one was back to being more hip hop. Slept on IMO. Muggs, Fred Wreck and Alchemist all dropped dope beats.
So for me their best albums are
CH
TOB
BS
IV
TDDUP
S&B
SR
And both their remix albums are on point. The constant with Cypress has always been B-Real rhymes and Muggs' beats. Hopefully their upcoming album will have Fred Wreck and Alchemist beats now that Muggs is taking a lesser role in the album. Sen Dog really has rhymed less and less on albums. Almost like he is not in the group any more. Feel free to drop comments.

Ha,ha....hmmmm anyway dope review. Looks good.
Iīm sure you remember 7A3,Iīm looking for "Why?" http://www.discogs.com/release/743488
never released on cd that Iīm aware off. But Iīm sure some clever heads have ripped it. Such a dope track.
Their album wasnīt all that,itīs a shame they didnīt include that track on their album.
7A3
http://www.discogs.com/release/743488
The short-lived hip-hop group out of California released one album in 1988. DJ Mixmaster Muggs was a mobile DJ in Southern California in 1985 and soon teamed up with rappers Brett B and Sean B forming the 7A3 crew. After pushing some material through the independent label Macola Records the group tried pushing a demo to major labels. The rock label Geffen Records tried to infiltrate the growing hip-hop market and was turned on by 7A3's non-threatening and radio-friendly party rap style (that same year Geffen turned down N.W.A.). 7A3 recieved moderate notice for their single "Mad Mad World" which appeared on the Colors soundtrack and the single "Goes Like Dis". After the group broke up DJ Mixmaster Muggs hooked up producing for Mellowman Ace but gained wide recognition with his role in Cypress Hill as producer/DJ and for his work on House of Pain's "Jump Around". In the 90's Mixmaster Muggs is more commonly recognized simply as "DJ Muggs".
Nah I don't have that one, very hard to find. I only said that about B-Real's voice because I did not want the thread to turn into "Oh I like Cypress but I can't stand his voice." or something to that effect. Definitely recommend people to check out they albums and if they like it cool if not that's cool too.

I know,itīs good to warn people. Take the hate somewhere else...
I know itīs hard to find,I got friends that got the vinyl so itīs not impossible to get a rip of it.
But you have heard it right? I got it on tape,so I can do really bad rip and up it if you want?
The only Cypress album I know is their first one and Stoned Raiders. Didnīt really like it,but the track with Ren and King T is dope and I actually love Memories, they also used the joint on the Bones OST,but they cut out a verse right or some shit like that?
I have only heard a couple tracks, not the whole album. Yeah they did cut a verse on memories, that' right I forgot about that. If you like their 1st one, you would probably like Temples Of Boom. I recently popped this back in the ride and it is timeless music man.
-
props on the reviews, their first album was HUGE in NY, I started getting into hiphop around the same time 1991 and Cypress and NWA Niggaz4Life were my first 2 purchases on cassette
-
Yeah when Pigs first came on with that guitar loop, I was instantly hooked.

I think the success of Black Sunday opened the door for them to experiment with rock/alternative. Because that album had alot of rock sounding beats on it. I don't think they sold out, I just think they experimented with the rock sound a little too long instead of sticking with more of a hip hop based sound. But that is they decision and I could respect that.
-
One of the best rap groups ever, they got soooooo much classic shit.
-
i still bump temples of boom like a maniac - classic shit
-
I have always loved Cypress Hill, but never really checked out any of their albums. I probably should start today.
-
i got stoned raiders for xmas and I do have to say that I like the record especially the rock tracks like trouble. def not their best but not worst.

same here .. I never heard a full album besides Stoned Raiders which is ok
-
Cypress Hill was the reason why I started to listen to rap music (IV album and the song dr. greenthumb 8) )....
...other one was skull & bones album and the song "rap superstar", that track is a personal classic 8)
-
Bumping Prelude To A Come Up right now. Classic.
