Title: Computer reboot question?!??!

I got a friend who has a Hewlett Packard windows me. He wants to reboot his computer, but he doesn't have the rebooting cds. I was wondering if he called HP would they send him a copy!?!?! anyone know?

its not rebooting, its reformatting. no they wont send him a copy because windows is a program. its like a game, its like if ur old version of san andreas iddnt work on ur new ps3 its not like their gonna send a new copy of san andreas.


windows is expensive but i dont know how much windows me would cost these days.

HP sent me an  os/recovery disc free of charge, not sure if they're 24/7  :-\

Who needs a CD to reboot a computer? Not that I've ever heard of rebooting CD's anyway...

U can dl the drivers off the net, and burn them onto a cd

Ah, that explains. Yeah, you might be able to get the discs somewhere online through some illegal p2p service or something alike. You can bet your ass HP didn't put the discs online as a piece of shareware though :D
