who is better and who is the future?

I was just about to post a new topic about Crittenton. But I'll do it here.
Ya'll already know I'm not like that other guy who dickrides all things Lakers related, I just tell shiet how it is. But on some real talk - Crittenton is going to be a VERY special player. Dude plays with so much maturity, patience, and good decision making that its scary to know that he's a rookie! Plus he's 6-4 1/2 - 6-5 so he can swing over and play shooting guard. In a few years I can see him being where Penny Hardaway should've been had it not been for the constant knee problems. Dude could definitely be our Joe Johnson.
The Lakers will probably keep him much longer than Farmar cuz he knows how to feed Bynum.
-
u guys should have traded for J-Kidd
-
I don't like Farmar at all.
Crittenton looks like something really SPECIAL. All-Star material.
-
it won't be farmar, although i like the UCLA dudes 8) (no homo)

What don't you like about Farmar?...
They're both great young prospects...Farmar is more on the mental side, while Critt is an athlete. Not to say that Farmar isn't an athlete or that Critt doesn't understand the game, cuz that's far from the truth...but they have opposite strengths, which can make for something extremely special in the future...I can definitely see them on the court together, even. Farmar is the better playmaker, while Javaris has that natural knack to score...Their abilities intertwine as well, it's very special...Farmar is like Steve Nash, his prime will take time to be realized, but he's always gunna be solid, at his very leastt. Javaris is like Wade, he's a big point guard who comes out with an explosiveness to him and can one day be an all-star with the talent he possess...One difference between Critt and Wade, though, is that Critt doesn't rely soley on his athleticism...Either way, both of these young point guard prospects are gunna make for something very special in the future of Lakerland...PeACe

I've never been a fan.

^I don't see anything wrong with Jordan's game...He can shoot, he can pass, he knows the game, he's athletic, and he's smart. Has all the tools to being a great floor leader and the future point guard for the Lakers...Javaris is awesome, but he has less point guard qualities to him. I see him more as a tweener ala Penny, Wade, T-Mac, etc. That's perfect for a tri point guard, though. But I really see them playing on the court together a lot in the furue...PeACe

HOW CAN YOU NOT BE A FAN OF FARMAR'S AFTER WATCHING HIM THIS PRE-SEASON? DAMN!

What the fuck does the pre-season prove? If we're judging player based off the pre-season then Kobe sucks.
-
probably critt but i see big thigns from farmar. if anything he'll be a hardy backup. you can never have too much depth in this league

Pre-seasons don't matter for the Kobe's, but they matter for the Farmar's and Crittenton's, genius. Cuz that's when young players like them get the most burn and have a chance to showcase their talent. Jordan Farmar is currently lighting shit up...PeACe

All it matters for them is determining rotations and playing time. The pre-season is only important to guys like Coby Karl.

Either way, players like Farmar can prove a lot in pre-season play. 19 points (7-10 FG) 5 rebounds and 5 assists for him tonight...Coby Karl has an awesome shot, by the way.

Jordan Farmar: 19 points (7-10 FG), 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers
Efficient as a bitch!

Fuck Coby Karl. We already have a player that is great in practice and non-existent in real games. Do we really need another one with less defense?

Unfortunately i don't see pre-season games from here (i'm from Italy). I'm judging him for what i've seen 'till the last season. Anyway i gotta admit he surprised me in the last season playoff, he played pretty well being a young rookie like he was. He wasn't scared, he's a floor leader, so he could develope into a good role player.

What are you talking about, you pessimistic fuck? "non-existant in games"?? HE HASNT EVEN PLAYED A GAME YET...and based on the pre-season, he's been looking good. Coby Karl is gunna be a steal. He's like Luke Walton with a deadly jump-shot...Perfect tri player...PeACe

Farmar HAS to start when the regular season begin
-
I dunno about him starting over Fisher, though...I do, however, think he'll be better than Fisher at some point.

He probably will. If not then he'll start and be on the bench for most of the game. Fisher is here or his leadership and for later in the season when we're pushing for a playoff spot. Plus he's vital for once we get in the playoffs.
