Wow Luna,if that´s not great I don´t know what is?
Who is these cats? Never heard of them, from what I see I assume they´re fom Atlanta and into trap music,
like T.I like to call it in the Atlanta DVD bonus feature. Ain´t that the same as Snap with "gangster/street" lyrics really?
they're in DTP
yup, Atl, & trap style
not snap at all
-

Ok,DTP,thanx for the info. As soon as I saw you in this thread I figured it was Trap style,
by the way that Atlanta bonus documentary on the the DVD is some dope shit,no matter if you like Snap or/and Trap music.
I´m not the biggest fan of that music, but I ain´t ignorant.
If you hate on everything that ain´t "Hip Hop" or "Gangster",how will this culture move on?
np
yea it is
i honestly wouldn't compare trap & snap AT ALL
i agree this shit gotta move on, i don't hate at all..i don't bump it if i don't like it, simple ;D
-
It´s not me that made that comparison,it´s T.I in the documentary on the Atlanta bonus feature.
I honestly have not heard that much Snap music other than the big singles that get played on TV and radio.
You should see the documentary if you haven´t,it´s really interesting.
At least I found it interesting, then again I like documentary´s and following new movements.
Murder Dog magazine is a perfect magazine to keep up with every new movement and artist that´s coming up around the country.
As far as T.I goes I got all his albums, but has not not really given them a proper spin to speak on them yet,
of course all the tracks that get played on TV and radio,to tell you the truth they ain´t bad to be mainstream. :)
damn..to me i wouldn't compare the 2 at all besides: i see trappin as more of tellin the truth of whats goin on in the south's hoods and shit, and snappin is kinda taking that and putting it to a party beat, 2 try and make a big single for the tv/radio...that's the only thing i'd ever say bout them 2
T.i my favorite artist, and he brought trappin to the fore front of the industry and i've never really thoroughly enjoyed a snap song, that's why i would never compare the 2
it does sound interesting, i like documentaries as well
give them a proper spin homie...Trap Muzik is a damn classic, and all his albums are at least 7.5/10
-
That´s what T.I said in the documentary, that Trap is the "Gangster/Street" version of Snap.
So you´re somewhat on page with T.I,I´m not here to judge what is what when I haven´t really given the music a fair chance,
you can blame TV and radio for that. Everything that I hear on TV/radio 24-7 kind of turn me off.
Maybe I should go and get my T.I cd´s and see what all the fuzz is about?
I just discovered online shopping,so everyday new cd´s comes in my mailbox. :D
Today I got Young Maylay´s street album :D,off course I have downloaded it,around the same time you did. (I remember your thread)
But I can´t find the "Horsemen project" anywhere?
o ok then, I am agreeing with T.i then LOL
yea homie get them albums, and see what the fuzz about..not a single wack album, all quality, and 1 CLASSIC
Maylay is dope, i gotta cop his album
never heard of the horsemen project

I haven't heard any better album from Atlanta this year besides the Grand Hustle street album and TI Vs TIP. It's pretty flashback 2000-era Atlanta hip hop besides a couple tracks.
-
I don't like them much but I'll check this one out 8)

What? I know you have heard of the "Horsemen project"? If not I´ll PM you that ASAP.
And the Young Maylay joint is legit, nice booklet and print on the cd,looks like a "real" cd.
Bishop´s Nxgger Noize on the other hand is ghetto, but still it came with a booklet and print on the cd.
Alright I will go and get my T.I cd´s now, have you made a review thread that I can leave my coments in?
oo boy my mistake, the kurupt group..ofcourse i've heard of it & have it, dope 8)
difference between maylay & lamont is that maylay's product was MEANT to be sold & lamont's was not..someone was just tryna make a cheap buck off bishop's n*gger noise
i have not done that actually
i'll tell u tho personally, i've been listening to his albums recently and rating them song by song, and then calculating a percentage
I'm Serious - 7.6/10
Trap Muzik - 8.9/10 (i tried 2 mark it difficulty lol)
urban legend - 7.6/10
king - 8/10
have yet to due Ti vs Tip yet, but ofcourse i've heard it a whole lot, it'll be in the king range

I knew that you got four horsemen,so I was like what(?),this got to be a mistake.
...and yes I know that Nxgger Noize was not meant to be sold, but I hoped that they printed up a gang off promotion copies,
I don´t know if mine is a "legit" promotion copy, but at least it got print on the cd and a booklet.
It´s ghetto, but fuck it I hate burned cd´s with no booklet of albums that I feel.
And Bishop´s album is one of the albums this year if not the best,Young MayLay´s street album is 100% legit.
Sorry homeboy I went out for a minute,so have yet to check out T.I discogs, but I´m going to get his cd and load them into my computer in a minute, and you will get my opinion.
yea dope project
i feel that, hate burned discs as well
all good
peep that, and give me you're opinion...pay real close attention 2 lyrics, ESPECIALLY on trap muzik :o (the whole album)

I'm bumping I'm Serious right now. One of my personal favs.
