Wasn't he and Snoop like 1.2 or 1.3 mill in like May/June?
-
Nah, they never hit plat. Snoop was at like 880.000.
-
i think game is very close to platinum if not already and snoop is around there too even without any real hits to mention...i remember game being in high 900k mark i think a while back....don't know what happened after that....his basically a mill sold which is pretty good for him after the whole drama and i thnk snoops sales are not so bad either considering his album was kinda wack imo
-
They were both in the 900k's around may, there mos def at platinum now!!!
-
I remember in like May, Game was at like 930,000 and Snoop had just hit 900,000... last time I remember, so I'm not sure if they are Plat. in the U.S., but worldwide they both are
-
Last I saw Game was at 900,000 ish. After that I didn't see the soundscans for a while then he was gone when I finally saw it.
Did either of Snoop's last 2 albums go plat?

Blue Carpet Treatment is not certified yet but Terrance Martin said in the last interview that Snoop is platinum. Rhythm & Gangsta is almost certified double platinum.
-
yeah Snoop's R&G album did hit Platinum in the U.S.
but with Blue Carpet Treatment it IMO wasn't promoted right... the video for "That's That" premiered on 106 & Park on BET the day that the album came out, so in other words that single came out way too late, and "Vato" was a bad choice for a first single, because it didn't do what it was supposed to... plus I don't remeber seeing much advertisements for the album other than in XXL and The Source, and I saw like one commercial and that was it
hopefully the label gets it right this time with Snoop, and step their promo game up, and drop the right singles at the right time, cuz Snoop would have most definatly hit Platinum in the U.S.
-
game left the charts high in the 900.000 mark; so he should be platinum by now, not sure about snoop tho, he should be something like 900-950.000
-
He did NOT leave the charts high in 900.000 mark.
- On 5th of April he was at 899,238 (http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?topic=140607.0)
- on 18th of April he was off the charts (http://www.dubcnn.com/connect/index.php?topic=141757.0)

Akon And The Game To "Roc" Australia

The third Roc Tha Block event brings Akon, The Game and Naughty By Nature to Australia.
Last year's massive event, headlined by rap's reigning mogul Jay-Z, was going to be hard to top. But the Roc Tha Block organisers have trumped expectations by securing the talents of the most ubiquitous rap stars of the last few years, Akon.
Akon will be joined by multi-platinum West Coast hip hop star The Game. The Californian's gangsta debut 'The Documentary' hit number one in the US in 2004 and his 2006 follow-up 'Doctor's Advocate' has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide. These two modern hip-hop icons will also be joined by old-school party hip-hop legends Naughty By Nature.
Akon said in a press release, "I can't wait to finally perform for my fans in Australia". The Game also glowed, "I've heard a lot of good things about this event and I'm ready to come and Roc tha Block, the West Coast way". Tickets go on sale June 13.
Tour Dates:
Saturday August 11 – Vodaphone Arena, Melbourne
Sunday August 12 – Entertainment Centre, Sydney
