Alright I got a sony mp3 player... nwz-a818. It's supposed to be 8 GB's. I put in a little over 2 GB's of music and it says device is full. So I deleted everything I put on there and the demo stuff that comes on there. I click on the properties for it and it says 5 and a half GB's of storage being used. Now I didn't put that on there, what is taking up all that space ? Can anyone help ?

i'm guessing the OS on the mp3 player is what's taking up the space. (?)

that's odd. have you tried another person's computer?
dude imo ipod>>>>>>>any other mp3 players, even though i just had to return one today because it started fucking up). but with that said man, i manage the electronics department and seriously out of the 20 or so mp3 players i sell, they all have their god damn problems. but, ipods have the least amount of problems, they're jsut the way to go IMO.
