MurderIncOnline can reveal that Ja Rule's highly anticipated new album 'The Mirror' has been pushed back to 2008 with no confirmed release date. We contacted Irv Gotti to ask him the reason behind this set back and he told us that they have recieved 'Sample clearance issues' so therefor they had to push it back. We will update you on any further developments as soon as we get word from the label.

Ja Rule's highly anticipated album, Mirror, has been pushed back again. This time, with no stated release date.
As SOHH previously reported, Mirror was first pushed back from its original September release, to November.
MurderInc-Online said the reason for this second delay is "sample clearance Issues," but Ja told SOHH in an exclusive interview, he'd rather wait until the competition weans to release his disc.
"I was going to put the album out November 13 but I decided to wait," Ja told SOHH. "The new year is fresh. It's only a couple of months away. So, since everything is fresh and new, what I'm doing, I felt, I'ma let it linger. Plus, [there's] a lot of traffic right now. It's that fourth quarter traffic, you know what I mean? It's gonna be real heavy out there so I'ma let all the heavy heavys do their thing and @#!* and I'ma kick it off real fresh in the new year and splash. That's how I'm feeling right now with the project."
Quite different from the Universal imprint's story:

Ja Rule enlists help from The Game on the track "Sunset," and Lil' Wayne guests on the single "Uh Ohhh." The disc also features "Father Forgive Me," an update of the legendary rock group The Beatles' song, "Eleanor Rigby."
