It's great

I've played two seasons with Villa now...

First season:
Fifth in the league
Won the league cup

Second season:
Second in the league
Won the Uefa-cup
Won the FA cup

Oh, and Obafemi Martins is a great buy! Even tho he costed me like fifteen million pounds. He put 28 PL goals in the second season! And Scott Carson is  a keeper you definately should check out... I'm not even gonna say how much it cost me to keep him after the first season (had him on loan first).

I've been playing CM since 95 I guess... that's when my uncle got the family's first decent computer ;D I don't remember if it was the 93/94 version or the 94/95, but it was the "original" game layout (before the CM2-layout, think that one started with the 95/96 game), we had three versions of it, the english, italian and Norwegian.

Since then I played all the games up until CM 01/02, then I fell off the circuit until now... And now I'm back on FM2008, and it's great ;D

Also football manager 2005 was cool 2 even though it took ages on my computer. After that my PC was too slow, had to wait til football manager for the 360. lol

I've dl the beta patch (8.0.1) but....
Something is really wrong with this game.

In 4 games with Rangers I've scored 12 and conceded 12  :o And I've scored several goals which was blown up for "offside" :-\
How do I lose for some Albanian team in the CL 2. qualification 8-8 on away goals :-X I won 6-4 at Ibrox
They need to patch up this shit fast as fuck!

I get hooked on these so easily. I was playing game with CSKA Moscow and I had won the league in my first season. Was in UEFA cup semi final and the Russia Cup semi final and my brother went and deleted the computer. Pissed me off so much.

I have had many long games on it with teams such as:

Everton
Man City
Real Betis

I try not to go the big teams. I did that enough on the Champ Manager series. Like on Champ man 99, all you had to do was go Real Madrid and you had an amazing team and about 50/60 million to spend. Boring really.

Celtic and Lyon are probably the 2 best teams to go in the entire game really. Expected to dominate the league with not much money to spend, and anything in Europe is a bonus. I got to 2019 in champ 99/00 managing Celtic and Scotland.

I got to 2032 with AC Milan once on Champ. Had Saviola as a coach, Vieri as an assistant manager. haha. All my team was youngsters and we where amazing.

I just paid 35 quid for itlast week, dont mind paying money for something like this, its an investment! lol MIght as well just say goodbye to my degree and my social life right now.

What actually are all of those things you just uploaded KDub, not really up to speed.

I went Celtic. Lost the league on the last day of the season, fucking raging! Got to last 16 of champions league and won the scottish cup.

Signed, Stancu, Steven Fletcher, Ghaly (On loan) Martin Skrtel (Great player), Barry Robson ( A surprsisingly good signing) and just started pre season and so far i've got Bojinov and Lassana Diarra on loan and signed Piatti.

Any reccomendations for a budget of about 8 million?

Oh and sometimes i really struggle to score goals, will dominate a team for the whole game and not score, even with excellent strikers, any suggestions on how to remedy this?

Oh and some good formations would be good too, i've played with the same 4 1 2 1 2 formation since 98/99 and its never failed but maybe a change would be good. Away in Europe i play with a 4 2 3 1 formation and is excellent, beat chelsea, sevilla and olympiakos with that, then went down to 9 men and got fucked 3 - 0 in donetsk after wining the first leg 2 - 0.

God i love this game. lol

Just thought id leave a few players who (after starting a new game on the new patch) have currently helped me win 6 in a row with celtic (8 if u count the 2 that were already won) 6 scottish cups, 4 League cups Arsenal style with all players u23, a Uefa cup and several champions league semis (Cant win the fucker though!!) with an average squad age of 23(Considering Boruc and McManus are both 30 thats quite a feat)....

Boruc (POssibly the best goalie in the game)
Mark Wilson RB
Stephen McManus CB
Guillerheime (spelling?) Sampiao LB
Alex Teixiera CM RM AM
Pablo Piatti AM
Roberto DM
Ever Banega DM
Bruno Formigioni DM
Scott Brown RM CM
Aiden MCgeady AML ML
Sergio Mota AML LM
Alan Kardec ST
Aquino ST
Kerlon AM ST
Bogdan Stancu ST
Jose San Roman RB

All turn into either "Quality players" or Great Assets to the squad. ANy other players i should know about?
