i like his early music 24 Deep and Season of da Siccness but i never really felt him after that when he changed his flow... as for being more mainstream Lynch is a underground star i guess you could say so i dont think hed fit goin more mainstream. when you hear Brotha Lynch Hung you think classic underground
-
Lynch Hung is dope. I bump his tracks ALL the time!
Had 2 Gat Ya, Refuse To Lose, Siccmade, One Mo Pound 2 Smoke....and the list goes on....
When I think of Lynch I think of classic underground gangsta rap, and it should stay that way.
-
One of the illest flows in the game.
-
Brotha Lynch is a sick fucker!! Like the stuff that he says, is very disturbing sometimes..But it is music and entertainment, and he is talented. Refuse to Lose was a solid underground hit.
-
His flow is damn near perfect but some of his shit is just too much for me
-
brotha lynch hung = best gangsta rapper on the westcoast
locc II the brain track > most niggas entire albums

Lynch is heat! I haven't heard EBK4, but yeah, 24 DEEP, SOTS, and LOADED are all classics, and musts for true West Coast rap fans.
LYNCH BY INCH is a little different in that Lynch experiments w/ some different flows. Also, as he admitted himself in interviews, Lynch kind of uses the CD as a covert way of getting some things off his chest re: the drama he went through w/ Black Market Records from '98 to '01 (or thereabouts). The first time I heard it, I was a little put off, but once I'd listened to it a few times and judged it on its' own merit, I got into it more and more, and now I like it as much as his classics (if not more). I remember that Lynch once said that SEASON was a "drunk" adrenaline-rush kind of CD, while LOADED was more of a laid-back, "getting high," chillin' record. LYNCH BY INCH, to me, is somewhere in between those two extremes. And no, I don't think going mainstream would do him a lot of good. Just my opinion, though.
PEACE!

Love listening to the Brotha Lynch Hung! :D Even if you've listened to a lot of Gangsta Rap, his music is definitely an acquired taste that you can't really enjoy unless you've heard almost everything else because of the content of his lyrics. (Though his recent releases have matured a bit) His production on "24 Deep" and "Season of" are top notch, whether sample based or not. Arguably the greatest underground artist. A little buzz here and a quest appearance there is cool, but I don't think he's going to go to great lengths to dilute his talent for a greater mainstream market share. It's already been a while, and the Black Market feud didn't help out in any way.
Does anyone know of more tracks, aside from the few on "Nigga Deep", that were recorded by "Endangered Species"? (Earlier group of Lynch Hung, X-Raided & Sicx)
-
There's only one BROTHA LYNCH HUNG.
One of my top 5 mcs, even with all the gargage he put out as of late.
-
check www.myspace.com/maestrominded for a track by 40 Glocc feat Brotha Lynch, produced by myself.
-
^^ you mean u did a remix or what?
I like the "underground" shit,so that he don't get reckonized by the "mainstream" is fine with me.
