I am stuck on this geometry question, can somebody help me out???? ??? ???
After heading due south you turn 25 degrees to the left. Where are you heading??? at what degree???
any help is appreciated ???

from my calculation degrees would be 245 and you'd be heading southeast

Check it (http://www.pen.k12.va.us/Div/Winchester/jhhs/math/lessons/unitcircle.gif). When you say going south, I'm assuming that your going down the y-axis starting from the origin (0,0). So, if you're going south your degree that your on would be 270. Then, if you turn to the left 25 degress, 270+25 = 295. And being that you end up in the 4th quadrant, you'd be heading southeast.

^^^ well according to that compass it would be 295 degrees. 245 would be if you turned right. I thought 0 degrees would be headed direct north and 180 would be direct south.
