I dont know if anyone noticed but I've been gone for tha last couple dayz..... this thread just passed me by.
I first heard Mausberg on Julio G's West Side Radio..... "No More Questions" ft/ Dj Quik.... I heard that song and I was like "Daaaaaamn, tha West Coast got some new HOT talent" (kinda excited).... I got home that night and started to look up info about Mausberg on tha net... then I found out he was dead, it took me by surprise.... I picked up his cd and the Konnectid Projects a couple months ago....
"No More Questions"
"Pimpalistic"
"Shut Up"
"We Aint Done Yet"
"Re-Birth"
"Busta"
"Get Nekkid"
"If It Aint Broke"
"I Can Feel That"
and ALOT of otherz......
Those are some of my personal favorite Mausberg songs...
It's a shame how he was SO TALENTED and died before he even got his chance to shine.... before his album even dropped.... he deserved it, he deserved more.

THIS WAS IN A NEWSLETTER I GOT ITS WRITTEN BY A MAUS FAN
*DIMU* - IS THAT OUR DIMU???
WELL HERE IT IS -APPROPRIATE I THOUGHT
Fan Dedication to Mausberg- by Dimu 22
As sad as it is to say, tha homie Mausberg isn't here wit us today to grace
us wit his realness and his truizm on tha mic . Last year on June 5th around
1:00 A.M. we lost one of tha most realest, untouchable, funkiest, mellow
human beings that ever picked up a mic and blew up tha westcoast underground
atmosphere wit his realness .He brought tha krown back to tha Westcoast wit
tha homie KAM in "Tha Rebirth", which was featured on tha "Konnectid Project
Vol. 1" , u kan pick that up in stores when u kome across it. It's got tha
likes of many westcoast undergound music veterans (Tha REAL music that's out
there right now) like tha almighty Dj Quik, Xzibit, Hi-C, Playa Hamm,
Compton's own Madd Nation, Suga Free as well as many other TRU compton based
artists and above all, an amateur to tha game that brought it like no other
amateur kould bring it. He shined for tha first time on Dj Quik's Rythmalism
album with tha song kalled, "Down Down Down" which features Suga Free, AMG,
Quik and tha realest. Go out and pick up that album. Due to a coward ass
sucka, we aint blessed wit his prescense no more, WE DON'T NEED HATERS LIKE
THAT,"FUK THEM HATERS FEED EM KATFISH WIT BIG BONES" but he's still alive in
his music and with tha presence of his homeboys along wit his family so we
gone keep it real just like tha homie Maussy would and we gone support him to
tha fullest, kuz tha TRU'Z aint never gone and forgotten, so everyone go out
and pick up Mausbergs Classic (Note I said Classic) Westcoast Debut Album
produced by none other than tha untouchable, unfadable, realest, fonkiest,
underground, westcoast producer/rapper tha Almighty Dj Quik as well as tha
homie Saccs, who puts it down like no one else, and Six Million, an up and
komin producer ready to shake da world, with tha likes of artists such as
Suga Free, Dj Quik, Squeek, Dresta, Playa Hamm, Crawf Dog, 2nd II None, James
Debarge and AMG. Also Mausberg was mainly on Quik's 2000 "Balance & Options"
album, so go out and support tha homie Quik and buy that masterpiece as well.
We gotta put tha Westcoast back on top and if we forget tha realest figures
in tha game like 2pac, Mausberg, Big Jake (Jai Hassan Jamal Robles), Top Dogg
(Darryl Cortez Reed), Eazy E, Prince Ital Joe, then u dont know tha tru
meaning of Rap music and wut it has to offer. So light some insense, say a
prayer, lay back, blaze sumthin, or chill wit ur lady, or even out in tha
open while ur playin ball or clownin wit tha homeboys, "BANG SOME OF THAT
MAUSBERG, AND IF U AINT GOT ANY MAUSBERG, GO PICK IT UP KUZ ITS CLASSIC
MATERIAL THAT Y'ALL BEEN WAITIN FOR AND MAUSBERG PUT IT DOWN."
R.I.P. Maussy, We gone see u at tha crossroads " Y'all niggaz bout to feel it
nigga, kuz we gone take it to tha limit nigga, Me & Quik about to do it
nigga, REALIZM wit tha fluid nigga" !!!!!!!!!
Stay Real, "In A Real Way" !!!!!!!!!!!!
PEACE
