Do you wanna stop paying taxes for the Walonians or do you not mind? What's your take on the situation?

To be totally honest, although I've studied history at university, I'm not that much into politics. Not because I'm not interested, more because of a lack of time. If I had the time to properly analyze the whole situation, I'd be able to give a critical view on it.

But, from what I know, it's quite simple: the economic situation in Flanders (and Brussels) is for a great deal responsible for the good current economic atmosphere in Belgium as a whole. And the Walonians KNOW that, that's why they're so reluctant of dividing the country into two separate countries.

Of course, it's slightly more complicated than just that, but I don't have the time frankly to give a thorough analysis of this.

I'm just curious cause some guy on tv today said that most of the people don't want Belgium to split up, but that all of this is coming more from the politicians.
