I remember hearing a Kurupt song called "Tanqueray" on Time Warner Cable's "Music Chocie" channels a while back(around '94 or '95). It's not the one from "Streetz.." or "Tanqueray And Blunts(w/ Dre, Daz, and Rage). Don't remember much of the song, but the chorus went something like: "..I don't hang w/ no bustas and I don't hang w/ no fags.." I only heard this once and remember really liking it. It sort of sounds like "Loc'd Out Hood" off the Gang Related soundtrack. Anyone know this one???

the chorus that you were talking about sounds familar but somehow it reminds me more of Daz than Kurupt, maybe Daz said that rhyme in a song or something I'm trying to remember, As far as "Loc'd Out Hood" if it was an early demo or something because the song you heard was '94 or '95 "Loc'd Out Hood" was released in '97, I think it was recorded around '96 but i'm not sure

"Loc'd Out Hood" is my favorite Kurupt song would love to hear the early version of it 8)

Naw, it wasn't this one. The hook is the same, though ??? Maybe it was just a freestyle joint that Kurupt did and got lost w/ a lot of the other Death Row heaterz.
