In the New Source Daz threw a couple of shots at Dre. There was like a track by track review of the DPG album and while describing one of the tracks Daz said that Dre would just come in while hearing a song, not like it , change it and put his name on it. Daz says that's why he don't fuk with Dre anymore. He also says he won't do music with Snoop anymore but they still hang out and are cool with each other.
-
which one? the summer releases cover with a bunch of them on the coveR?
-
is it online? well they have to be doing music together hes said it a grip of times about the dpgc album. so maybe it was misunderstood. ill have to check it out myself
-
str8 bullshit ya :( i mean ,, they already make track together ,, plus they are going to do a concert together also... maybe your mag is from -200 b.c ;D
naww just jokin but i'm sure daz his talkin bullshit in this mag...
-
scan it up! scan it up! scan it.... UP!
-
yeah i think Daz is straight bullshittin there... i MAYBE believe the Dre part... but im pretty sure Daz and Big Snoop will still be makin songs together no doubt...
Peace
-
that's odd becuase wasn't daz this time last year saying on julio g's show
Oh i can't wait to get back in the studio with my cuzin and dre, i wanna be on that up in smoke tour too
-
he was never on the up in smoke tour though was he ? ??? i mean even on the video u can only see Kurupt backstage :o
-
It's the one with the Eastsidaz on the cover. When describing "At Night" Daz says "Bunch of shit going on at night. That's how me and Kurupt try to be. Dr. Dre just mixed the shit...He'd come in and say, "That's no good,"change one thing and put his name on it. That's why we fell out;that's why I don't fuck with him. I just do ot all myself." He then says while describing Dillinger and Young Gotti-"Cause they gave up on me, wouldn't no one fuck with me. They wouldn't take me on the Chronic tour or nothing. But now I got my own money to throw my own Chronic tour with Kurupt. Once we get ourselves high like we do now, Snoop, Dre and everybody want to fuck with us. I hang with Snoop. We still kick it, we just don't do music"
I don't know sounds to me like Daz still got mad issues...
-
no daz said this in the middle of the whole tour he was jelous that every major star from the west was on that tour but him...can't say i really feel sorry for him though he's the one "not fuckin' with them no more"
-
good point jake

Check this audio from Friday June 29th. He was at the beat dropped a freestyle & Said that they just did The Wash, they doing the DPGC album, & they doing the Detox album with Dr. Dre.

so is Daz just inconsistent or a liar ?

Everybody Has Problems Like Daz. I've Done Things Like That To My Friends Too, Sometimes You Just Feel Down. The Only Thing I Don't Forgive Daz For Is Saying Dre Was Gay, That's Wrong. The Rest Can All Be Forgiven, Although I Don't Think Dre Will Be As Forgiving As Snoop Will. Dre May Never Mess With Him Again. BTW, Was He Saying Dre Mixed At Night?
Daz Probably Changes His Opinions On Snoop And Dre Daily, I Do That Too Sometimes On People.
-
same here.. but shit.. i dont really care if dre & daz hook up... i mean it'd be tight but what i care about is the dpg being in working conditions with each other.. i mean i'd much rather see daz 'n snoop tight as fuck than dre & daz..
-
I FEEL FOR DAZ 100%
i always dismissed the dre is gay bullshit, but in all honesty, i do think dre did some shady shit with his people, yall may not agree, but please respect my opinion, just the fact that so many people call out dre on this issue makes me agree, from daz to atl to j-flexx, its just my personal belief
and u know what, i think daz and snoop are cool and will work, but like trauma says, your opinion of people change daily, ESPECIALLY if its people u once had problems with, like right now for example, i have this one dude i used to be hella cool with but i aint cool with him now, occasionally i might like whats u0p, and some days im like fuck him, i dont see dre and daz working together and daz dont need dre, hes proven he can make bomb ass music without him, daz has done everything by himself he doesnt need anybody, but i would like to see dpgc work together again- without dre.
-
daz is doing without dre but not even half as good
-
i think daz has a different style in some of his production and dre has a different style (and though dre is in my opinion a billion times better). but if they worked together they could make some bomb azz shit.. heres the thing i dont think dre really cares that much bout daz.. rightfully so.. dre has neva said shit bout daz really and daz called him gay... i mean its not like dre and daz are family like snoop and daz are.. dre isn't dpg.. dre is a big time affiliate but he sure as hell dont need daz where as snoop kinda does need to hav a full dpgc... which of course includes daz... as far as dre taking credit.. we'll never know but i sincerely doubt it because if dre isnt this musical genius he appears to be then how do u explain awesome beats being dropped over so many years in three different camps...
-
its kinda funny that daz says he doesnt fuck with dre anymore and then acts dissapointed that he wasnt on the up in smoke tour.. that was like the dre 'n snoop tour originally.. it jus ended being the phatest tour ever, but oh well dont fuck with dre, im sure dre has no need to fuck with you..
-
Daz is like me, hes a gemini. we flip our personalities like a coin, if your a gemini youll know what i mean LOL
but really tho, I think Daz proved he is one of the best producers out there on the new DPG record. im not gonna put daz vs dre because its a dumb argument, but what i will say is i enjoy both of their work very much (probably daz a little more, just my taste).
and im sure snoop and daz will get together for that new dpgc record, dre and daz collabo might happen might not. either way, im not trippin.
-
I can deal with Dre and Daz not workin but I was really lookin forward to Daz and Snoop collabs.
-
i agree, but it would be nice to hear collabs with dre and daz again
-
Daz probably said this a couple of months ago becuase the source is always a couple of months behind.
Last month's issue had a story on Tha Liks and they were interviewing them after a concert in Anahiem. I happen to be at that concert and it was in MARCH! and the story came out JUNE.
So if Daz said everything is cool now, then they're probably cool each other.
-
Let's Hope This Whole Thing Comes To An End And All These Peeps Will Work Together Again, The Fans Are Really Missing Out On All The Dope Music That Could Be Coming From These Cats..
-
man......DAZ needs to just quit with the negativity...........damn.....shit is the past....move on.....everythng..down with death row....if he said this..then he needs to move on......
When Dre Left DeathRow...i diddnt see Daz reaching out a hand to help Dre....I dont ever remember Dre talking bad about DAz......so i cant understand why he would do this.......
Im thinking the money he has been makin from his Cd's lately is going to his head.....gettin a big head again..like he had on Deathrow......if that is the case....one day its going to pop......
Peace Hambone..........
-
EXACTLY
-
Daz is all about that paper paper, well so is everyone else but hes into it deep, when he is broke hes all "dre i luv to work wit ya dogg, im sorry", then when he gets a little money he says " i dont like dre he can suck dick", daz is trippin, even though i like his music
I do think Daz is right on that dre puttin his name on shit, everyone has called out dre, even snoop back when dre left the row. Daz has to get his mind straight, and get good music out. these guys need to stop havin HUGE ego's speacilly dre and daz
p.s. daz didnt really say those things, it was jus a example.ya know
-
Daz is like me, hes a gemini. we flip our personalities like a coin, if your a gemini youll know what i mean LOL
IM A GEMINI 2!!!
peace
-
Thatz my word Jake !
Daz is as half as good without dre.
the best proof for that is : as Dre was on Death Row daz`s beat`s were on top. the beats the "Dogg Food" album daz made or on "all eyez on me" or the older things like "What would u do ?"
but then as dre left death row and daz dind`t get his advice, support or whatever, his beats didn`t went worse but in every case badder than before.
-
my god , just read my post again,
what a bad english, hope u get it anyways.
peace.

XACTLY......
a cupple years ago DAZ was complaining that DRE owed him all this money 4 his work on
The CHRONIC & DOGGYSTYLE....but it was all SUGE....
after DR dissed DAZafter he ran the company when SUGE went 2 jail,
he realized that it was SUGE and that DR was turning his own flesh n blood against him....
Im looking @ the liner credits of DILLENGER & GOTTI right now and it
doesnt say WHO mixed it....
its says ALL SONGS MIXED BY MIKE DEAN.....
and whats the big deal if he mixed it & got credit???
LISTEN 2 DOGG FOOD....DRE mixed that & that CD sounds GREAT....
u can even dub that CD 2 a tape....AND IT STILL SOUNDS LIKE CD..
sum hard shit 2 do....Theres a reason DREs so respected...
HE KNOWS WHAT THA FUCC HES DOIN
-
LOL - Word.
Anyways, You're DEAD Right About Gemini's Mr. Loc, I Used To Date One, And She'd Flip Daily. (Hourly). Yall Got 2 Personalities.
BTW, That Daz Freestyle Is TIGHT... LOL.
-
Daz does my head in! I respect the guy, but look at all the major DPGs, the only one who has a consistent history of dissing his supposed friends is Daz. He acts like a beeeatch sometimes.
Safe
-
What the hell! on this freestyle he is talking about releasing wit dre and shit, but in the source he is dissing them what the fuck
-
Thats messed up. I don't know what is up with daz. I don't think dre did any shady shit. But you never know. I think they need to end this bullshit and start making music.
-
im feelin daz mo than dre.hez coo but i got ma prefs.snoop n daz, tighter
dis bullshits fucked up, stop beefin n start makin music yo
-
The Only Thing I Don't Forgive Daz For Is Saying Dre Was Gay, That's Wrong.
No offence but i neva heard him say that
i'm not sayin didnt i just neva heard
-
Me Neither, But I Thought It Was Fact?
Somebody Refresh Our Memory On Whether Daz Dissed Dre And Called Him Gay... IThought He Did.
-
I remember daz dissin Dre
But i dont remember Daz callin him gay
-
From what I can remember I only remembered Daz saying something about him & Warren G doing most of the production on Chronic & DOggystyle & Dre took credit dispite only doing a lil bit.
I also remember someone telling me how he went on TV wearing a Chronic 2000 jacket & he said something about "This album is by the real death row, the new death row. When people think Death Row they think Dre & Snoop, but they aint death row"
Apparently he also went on radio & called Snoop hollywood
As far as Daz's beef with Dre personally, I dont think it ever went that far. I dont think they were ever really really tight like him, SNoop, Nate & Kurupt were, but of course they were friends, just not the type of friend you hang every single day with. This is probably because of the big age difference. You gotta remember Dre had gone through that party, smoking weed & gangsta life all ready, Daz was still young doing his thing.
I personally think it was misscommunication. I believe Daz has a different idea on what producing is compared to Dre. It is true, that Dre does get alot of people to play instruments & then he just mix's it together with a drum beat, but that is what producing is. Daz makes almost everything himself, he knows how to play keyboard & other instruments & puts it together with a drum beat himself most of the time, & i believe he thinks thats EXACTLY what a producer is. You dont have to do all those things to be a producer of a beat. I'm not exactly sure but i believe a producer puts things all together & adjusts things to make the instrumental mix better & sound better
