Tha Dogg Pound will not be signing with Cash Money. Just to make it short, the check bounced. Stay tuned for future updates and info about the next Dogg Pound album.

Yeah it does sound wierd. Oh well, Daz and Kurupt know how to hustle up that money on they own now. Hopefully now WCA will be more of a WEST COAST album.

lol! I remember when people were happy Daz and Kurupt deaded their beef. Now everybody's just praying to god for them to start beefing again.

to me, Dogg Pound as a Duo (Daz & Kurupt) is dead, there is nothing to bring them to the spotight again, their chemistry may be good for the die hard fans, but on the real... they be spitting the same bullshit since a couple of years, the only way the name Dogg Pound could get in the Mainstream again, is by doing a reunion album On a label like Def Jam or Interscope, and this shit aint happening...
-
come on y'all
i'm as positive as it gets, but real at the same time
DPG wasn't gonna blow up on cash money ::)
cash money has quite the history of FUCKING over any artist not by the name of lil wayne or baby (quite the long list as well)
-
thank god!
-
Sorry to hear that... I was hoping for The Pound to be in the mainstream one last time before it's too late.
-
Cash Money always fucks over talent (see also: Buck,Young,Outlawz,TQ.)

so are they gonna go independent again or sign to another label?

lol, it been too late since the 90's
-
what really needs to happen is that Daz needs to get with Mike Dean again at least for a few tracks and have the album properly mastered, would not mind to see a few Fred Wreck tracks along with some Soopafly as well and then I'm good

I wouldn't say that... the early part of the 2000 decade is probably a better assessment... but comeback's can happen. This would have been a good chance to have maybe a nice run. Who better than Weeze and The Bird in this day and age?

comeback can happen, but I doubt ever gonna make on. They been stuck in the same rhythm for way too long now. Fact of a matter, where they ever there, cause that's obviously neccessary for a comeback.

+1 on that. Sorry to say DPG is a done deal (as a duo at least).
Daz should stick to production and Kurupt should stick to solo/guest appearances.

I mean it seems so obvious, but for some reason Daz don't see it that way...
