How Did These Nobodies Get On 2Pacīs Album?Do They Get Paid For Their Work?
I would of thought they would have been paid at the time to sing, they will not receive any royalties though unless they had publishing rights to the song (usually get publishing if you write lyrics or music for the song).
Only person who can answer how these "nobodies" got on Pac's album would be somebody in the studio. I will however take a guess as to how they are on the album. They will be the producers singer, or the producers friend, or just generally chilling in the studio where the album was recorded. They'll be asked to sing something, they did, they're on the record.

When was UTEOT made? 01? Who was signed to Death Row at the time? No R&B singers...
Did Dre Really Produce This Song By Nine Inch Nails?Did Yall Knew About It?
Yes, i knew about it. He mixed the song though, he did not produce it.
::SideNote. How can you refer to these background singers as "nobodies" when your life revolves around researching "nobodies" who released one song on a Death Row soundtrack?

i see what youre saying but it was 2pac-album, not some open mic "come on and sing" thing.
producers singers?what you mean?

what royalities are you talking about?

yes, 6 feet deep were there, because 6 feet deep were featured on "ballad of a dead soldier".

they will be singers who are "signed" with a particular producer and work with them on they stuff. often will be in studio with them... i.e. Dion and Hi-Tek, Blue Raspberry and RZA (see Only Built 4 Cuban Linx). Alternatively they will be singers that someone knows who will call them to come and record.

wow... when somebody makes a song they publish it (i.e. Suge Knight Publishing). Everytime an album containing that song is sold, or that song is played on the radio royalties are paid to Suge Knight Publishing. get it?

sorry, i didnt mean to forget those nobodies.

Sixx Nine Of 6 Feet Deep Was Married To Vivica A. Fox
-
how did these "nobodies" get on pacs album then? ???
-
there are a bunch of deathrow forums and sites out there with hardcore groupies like yourself. why don't you ask these questions over there?
-
Well they got on the albums because they were part of Tha Row at the time and what better way than to get some exposure than on a multi platinum PAC album
-
^^ thats what im saying.
-

wasn't J. Valentine signed back then?
-
they're all studio singers that get paid at the time of the recording, kinda like the people that sang milli vanilli songs
-
If they are the original productions, you gotta remember that Pac was by and large fucking w/ no name dudes before he died. Just look at the production credits on the Makaveli album. Several of those dudes were never heard from again.
If there were cats that remixed the joints specifically for the UTEOT album, it's prolly just the low budget dudes Suge had on the roster at the time.

Pyscho Hustla..no Diss!
But Sometimes you ask a lot of question concerning death Row, that sometimes most folks on here don't know the answer to Know!
we only know as much as you do!!
Death Row was a very closed Label..Most of the artist that were signed to that label have nothing, but bad things to say about it, though some would admit that they will always go off on a nostalgic trail of 'When it Was Good'...
But I'm intrigued that you are so wrapped up about The Row adn it's Artist and dealings, however sometimes to get the answer you need to the most difficult question would be,to do research outside of the Forum..
Until Props for the info though!
-
thx 4 tha props homie.
"info outside the forum"-> i wrote uneqka a msg on youtube.she didnt reply and when ppl interview DR artists they ask just shit.
