This had to be his last album (and, actually,it's a a very nice record).....after that, the next 6 records sounds like one big boring record (same contents, featurings and sounds).
He would have retired 11 years ago with the album number ten.
what's your thoughts ?

i agree.
he has ruined hes legacy to me. sure, make a few guest appearnces on other albums...
he is only devaluing the sound he created(bay funk) by endorsing this crunk shit. its a complete u turn of what made him famous.
get back in the lab with the old dangerous crew patnas, and see why and how todd shaw really became too $hort.

I was listening to Gettin' It a couple days ago and thought it was funny how he was talking about it being the last album, album #10, the end. And he just realeased #17 this week haha. I think he is trying to appeal to a younger generation so they really understand who Too Short is, because he has been rapping for longer than a lot of his listeners have been alive, even people he raps with, such as the members of The Pack. I still prefer those old funk beats, but even the current Short albums are better than most.

cant stay away is a potent ass album.
-
I dissagree - You Nasty was a great album, and Can't Stay away was dope too (other than those bonus shitty tracks).
The other ones weren't half bad either. I just wish he hadn't changed his sound that much, he should've kept it West Coast.
Anyway, the guy's a legend and I'll keep listening to his shit

last album I bought from Too Short was Cant Stay Away..didnt care much after that

He just have 1 hot single with a good production and a big featuring on every album, but if you listen to the whole record :P (i'm talkin about the records after "gettin it")
Gettin It was the best way to call it a career imho....

He albums number 10 was last true good albums. Others that make a followings are okay. Have yet to hear new albums. I hope I will not be disappointed.
